How to detect endometrial cancer? You can do these four types of examinations

There are several ways to check for endometrial cancer. For example, the woman's usual condition, whether she often has menstrual problems, abdominal pain, etc. Ordinary clinical examinations and B-ultrasound examinations are feasible ways to diagnose endometrial cancer. Patients with endometrial cancer must receive relevant treatment.

Women should have regular physical examinations every year to prevent the occurrence of some diseases, especially uterine diseases. I believe that everyone is familiar with cancer, and also know that the impact of cancer on the body is inestimable. It is precisely because of the many harms that women cannot ignore it. Endometrial cancer often occurs in women, so how to detect endometrial cancer?
1. Medical history
Endometrial cancer patients are mostly elderly women with delayed menopause or irregular menstruation, often infertile or infrequent parity, and with obesity, hypertension, and diabetes. If there is irregular vaginal bleeding or foul-smelling discharge after menopause, it is more important to pay attention. For young patients with irregular vaginal bleeding, the cause should also be carefully clarified, especially those who have been treated but have not been effective should also undergo diagnostic curettage. Vaginal discharge and abdominal pain are already late symptoms.
2. Clinical examination
General gynecological examinations in the early stage often reveal nothing. The uterus is not large, the cervix is smooth, and the appendages are normal. In the late stage of the disease, the uterus is larger than the corresponding age. After diagnosis, some women have bloody leucorrhea or putrefactive cancer tissue on their fingertips. Some women have protruding polyp-like tumors at the cervical opening. Endometrial cancer can coexist with uterine fibroids.
3. Cytology examination
The diagnosis rate of vaginal cytology examination for endometrial cancer is lower than that for cervical cancer. The reason is that columnar epithelial cells do not often fall off. When they pass through the cervical canal to the vagina, they are often dissolved and degenerated. Sometimes the cervical canal is narrow and closed, making it difficult for the fallen cells to reach the vagina. In order to improve the positive diagnosis rate, many doctors have improved the location and method of taking specimens. With the improvement of diagnostic technology, the positive diagnosis rate of endometrial cancer has also been greatly improved.
4. Ultrasound examination
Uterine ultrasound examination is of certain significance for the size, location, degree of myometrial invasion, whether the tumor penetrates the uterine serosa, or involves the cervical canal of endometrial cancer.
Whether or not patients with endometrial cancer should have their ovaries removed cannot be generalized. Although there are certain risks in keeping the ovaries, endometrial cancer is discovered relatively early, and there are many female patients who keep their ovaries. The incidence of endometrial cancer is not as high as that of cervical cancer, but it is also a hidden danger, and patients must do a good job of prevention.
