What is cervical precancerous lesion? How to diagnose cervical precancerous lesion?

Cervical precancerous lesions refer to cancerous lesions caused by lesions before cancer occurs. Cervical precancerous lesions are atypical hyperplasia of the cervix. The occurrence and development of cervical cancer has a gradual evolution process, which can take from a few years to decades. It is generally believed that this evolution process has gone through several stages such as hyperplasia, atypical hyperplasia, carcinoma in situ, early invasion and invasive cancer.

Symptoms of cervical precancerous lesions:

Bleeding after sexual intercourse. 70%-80% of cervical cancer patients have this symptom.

2. Cervical erosion Young women with cervical erosion that has not been treated for a long time, or who still have cervical erosion after menopause, should pay attention to it.

Bleeding after contact, bleeding after sexual intercourse, or uterine bleeding after a gynecological examination are all signs of cervical precancerous lesions.

4. In addition to uterine bleeding caused by IUD insertion, women with long-term leucorrhea mixed with blood should be checked in time.

Diagnosis of cervical precancerous lesions:

Cervical cytology

(1) Cervical Pap smear method: For the traditional cervical cytology examination, its widespread use has successfully reduced the incidence and mortality of cervical cancer by about 70% in the past 50 years. However, due to the false negative and high missed diagnosis rate of Pap smear, it no longer meets the needs of today's medical services and is gradually being replaced by more advanced examination methods.

(2) TCT: It is a new cytological technique invented in the late 1990s. It can significantly improve the detection rate of cervical cancer and precancerous lesions. It is the most widely used cervical cytological examination method in the world.

Human papillomavirus (HpV) testing: Identify high-risk groups and conduct further examinations.

3. Electronic colposcopy examination.

4. Cervical iodine test.

5. Check the cervix and endocervical canal activity.

6. Cervical conization examination.
