What are the examination items for breast cancer? Five common examination methods for breast cancer

Breast cancer is a high-incidence female malignancy, and its symptoms are very similar to other breast diseases, so the diagnosis must be determined by the following examinations. Now the early detection rate of breast cancer is getting higher and higher, which is partly due to the improvement of people's awareness of cancer prevention and more attention to breast self-screening, but the final diagnosis still depends on the professional examination of the hospital. If female friends find breast abnormalities, they should go to the hospital for examination in time. The examination steps are as follows: 1. Palpation In self-examination, women use their hands and eyes to feel whether the breasts are healthy, but we are not professional doctors after all, and some symptoms such as lumps or pain cannot be effectively judged. The doctor will make a preliminary judgment on whether the breasts have lesions in order to consider whether to continue the examination next. 2. B-ultrasound B-ultrasound is a method of examination for many physical diseases because it is convenient, simple and not expensive. At the same time, if the lump develops to a certain extent, the examination effect is still very good, and the location and nature of the lump can be judged. However, B-ultrasound has a low diagnosis rate for lumps below 1 cm. 3. Molybdenum target This is currently the most common and accurate method for breast cancer screening. It has clear imaging and can detect small lumps, but the cost is relatively high compared with B-ultrasound. It is generally recommended that women over 35 years old have a molybdenum target screening once a year. 4. Pathological examination Pathological examination is the best method for the final diagnosis of benign or malignant tumors. The diagnosis rate of puncture biopsy is over 90% when the nature of the mass cannot be determined after B-ultrasound and molybdenum target examination. 5. pET-CT The cost of this examination is relatively high, so it is generally not used for breast cancer screening, but once breast cancer is diagnosed with the above examinations, pET-CT can be used to examine the metastasis and spread of the tumor. In addition, if the patient cannot undergo puncture diagnosis, pET-CT tumor nature examination can also be used to confirm the diagnosis.
