What does cin1, a precancerous lesion of the cervix, mean? Five things to note to prevent cervical cancer

In today's modernization, although medicine has been very developed, cervical cancer still seriously threatens the health and life of Chinese women, leaving people helpless and many facing the departure of their relatives. Then, what does cervical precancerous lesions cin1 mean? How to prevent cervical cancer?

The development of cervical cancer should go through a slow process. Studies have confirmed that the main pathogenic factor of cervical cancer is the persistent human papillomavirus (HpV) infection, which develops into cervical epithelial neoplasia (CIN), also known as cervical precancerous lesions, through the integration, replication and proliferation of the virus in cells, and can further develop into cervical cancer. It is generally believed that it takes 10 to 15 years from HPV cervical cancer infection to cervical cancer prevention and early detection.

Cervical precancerous lesions CIN1. occur in women who have sex. Most cervical diseases can be detected by liquid-based cytology testing (TCT) to detect and treat the precancerous lesion stage. CIN is the English abbreviation for cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, which can be commonly called cervical precancerous lesions. In fact, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia is not cancer, but it is closely related to cervical cancer. CIN is divided into three levels, CIN 1, 2, and 3. Strictly speaking, CIN1 is not a precancerous lesion. About 60% to 85% of CIN will disappear naturally, while CIN2.3 has a much greater chance of developing into cervical cancer, so it is also called a precancerous lesion.

Cervical cancer often tortures many patients physically and mentally, so it is very important to prevent cervical cancer. Here are some ways to prevent cervical cancer:

(1) Advocate for late marriage, fewer births, and better quality of births. Delaying the age of sexual intercourse and reducing the number of births can reduce the incidence of cervical cancer.

(2) Actively prevent and treat cervical erosion and chronic cervicitis. During delivery, pay attention to avoid cervical lacerations and repair them in time.

(3) Pay attention to sexual and menstrual hygiene. Properly control sexual life. Sexual intercourse is not suitable during menstruation and the postpartum period. Pay attention to the cleanliness of both parties' reproductive organs. It is best to wear a condom during sexual intercourse to reduce and eliminate multiple sexual partners.

(4) Men with phimosis or excessive foreskin should pay attention to local cleaning and preferably undergo circumcision. This can not only reduce the risk of cervical cancer in wives, but also prevent penile cancer in themselves.

(5) For high-risk groups for cervical cancer, including women who have sex too early, too often, give birth too early, too often, too frequently, have promiscuous sex, have multiple sexual partners, have an unclean sexual history, have poor hygiene, have insufficient knowledge of sexual health, have cervical erosion, tear, chronic inflammation, and vaginal infection, and women whose spouses have long foreskin or phimosis, special attention should be paid to regular screening. If possible, cervical cancer emboli can be used for preventive treatment.
