1. Can fish and crab be eaten together?

Fish and crabs can be eaten together, but because both have high protein content, do not eat too much when eating together to avoid indigestion.

The maximum number of crabs you can eat in one meal is 3. Because crab roe has a high fat and cholesterol content, eating too much can easily induce cholecystitis, pancreatitis, etc. It is not recommended for patients with gallstones, chronic cholecystitis, chronic pancreatitis, and hyperlipidemia.

Secondly, crabs are salty and cold in nature, so people with chronic diarrhea and poor gastrointestinal function should not eat them, otherwise it will easily cause diarrhea; women who are prone to cold hands and feet, weak constitutions, and pregnant women should also try to eat less or not eat them; in addition, people with allergic constitutions should also be careful when eating crabs.

2. Fish and crab soup method

Ingredients: crucian carp, small crab, wild mushrooms, ginger, coriander, cooking oil, salt, cooking wine, pepper

Method: Clean the fresh crucian carp and make a few scratches on the back of the fish (be careful not to make them too deep). Clean the fresh crabs and cut them in half. Wash the coriander and wild mushrooms, and slice the ginger. Heat oil in a pan and sauté ginger slices. Add the crucian carp and fry until both sides are slightly yellow. Add cooking wine and appropriate amount of water and bring to a boil. Before putting the wild mushrooms into the pot, blanch them in boiling water so that they will be more tender, softer and smoother. After the water boils, add wild mushrooms and crabs in turn, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat. When the fish soup turns milky white, add salt to taste, sprinkle with pepper and coriander.

3. How to eat crabs healthily

Crabs should be eaten fresh; dead crabs should not be eaten. The rigor mortis and autolysis periods of crabs are greatly shortened after death. The bacteria in the crab's body will multiply rapidly and spread into the crab meat, causing vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea in the eater. The shell of a fresh live crab is glossy blue-black, with a full navel and a clean white abdomen. The shell of a dying crab is yellow and the legs are soft.

Crabs should be steamed and cooked thoroughly; do not eat raw crabs. Crabs feed on animal carcasses or humus, so their body surface, gills and gastrointestinal tract are covered with various bacteria and sludge. How can you not get sick if you eat it? If you steam or cook it thoroughly before eating, there will be no such problem.
