What are the symptoms of early lung cancer? Summary of early symptoms of lung cancer

As environmental pollution worsens, the incidence of lung cancer is increasing. Generally, lung cancer patients will have coughing symptoms, which is also one of its main symptoms. In severe cases, there may be coughing up blood. So what are the other symptoms of early lung cancer?

The most common symptom of lung cancer is cough, which is often an irritating dry cough with a high pitch, like the sound of knocking on metal. Bloody sputum or blood in sputum is the most typical symptom of lung cancer. These sputums are often mixed with detached cancer cells, and the positive rate of sputum cytology examination is high. When a tumor blocks the trachea, patients often feel chest tightness, shortness of breath, and fever. The fever is sometimes better and sometimes worse, and it is difficult to cure. At the same time, systemic symptoms such as loss of appetite and weight loss may also occur.

Generally speaking, a large proportion of people with lung cancer have early symptoms, such as coughing and blood in sputum, but more people are already in the late stages when they come for examinations, so special attention should be paid to necessary regular physical examinations.

So how do we detect lung cancer early? If we find that the irritating cough lasts for 2-3 weeks and anti-inflammatory treatment is ineffective, and the cough changes in nature and turns into an irritating dry cough with blood in the sputum, we should be alert to the occurrence of lung cancer. Patients who are highly suspected of lung cancer must undergo bronchoscopy or percutaneous lung puncture to obtain tissue pathological evidence.

Early lung cancer will have the above symptoms, such as mild cough or chest pain. It is best to go to the hospital for examination at this time to see if you have lung disease, rather than waiting until the symptoms become serious to confirm the diagnosis.
