Can liver cancer be felt by hand? Pay attention to 5 aspects to prevent liver cancer

Liver cancer can be said to be very scary because it is one of the malignant tumors with the fastest mortality rate among all cancers. If liver cancer is detected early, the harm of liver cancer can be reduced and its cure rate is relatively high. But how can we detect the early symptoms of liver cancer?

Can liver cancer be felt with your hands?

The most typical symptom of liver cancer is feeling tired and weak for no reason. In the early stage of liver cancer, the first thing patients feel is physical fatigue. Compared with fatigue caused by other reasons, the fatigue caused by liver cancer cannot be eliminated even if the patient lies down and rests quietly. So, what other methods can we use to detect the early symptoms of liver cancer? Can liver cancer be felt by hand?

The first thing is to find the exact location of the liver: the liver is located in the upper right part of the abdomen. In fact, the liver is large in size and extends from the right hypochondrium to the middle of the upper abdomen. Normally, the liver is blocked by the ribs and we cannot touch it directly. However, the upper part of the liver is close to the diaphragm, so when you take a deep breath, the liver will be pushed down by the diaphragm and can be touched under the ribs.

Here we recommend that you lie flat, bend your legs slightly, take a deep breath, and touch the lower edge of your right ribs with your hands. If you can only touch the ribs, it means that there is no risk of serious liver cancer; if you can clearly touch the liver and have obvious pain, it means that it is already a more serious liver cancer. Clinical studies have shown that about 1/3 of liver cancer patients can feel a mass in the liver area.

Five aspects to prevent liver cancer

We all know that liver cancer is terrible, so the best way is to take preventive measures. So how should we prevent liver cancer?

To prevent viral

The results of the study showed that hepatitis B vaccination can significantly reduce the incidence of hepatocellular carcinoma. The occurrence of hepatocellular carcinoma is closely related to viral infection, and the correlation with hepatitis B virus infection is particularly obvious. The correlation between hepatocellular carcinoma in children and hepatitis B virus is stronger than that in adults - the serum hepatitis B surface antigen positivity rate of children with hepatocellular carcinoma is close to 100%, while the serum hepatitis B surface antigen positivity rate of adult hepatocellular carcinoma patients is 70% to 80%. Therefore, the incidence of hepatocellular carcinoma in children can be used as an indicator to reflect whether the hepatitis B vaccine program can effectively reduce hepatocellular carcinoma. Using vaccines to prevent liver cancer has become one of the most promising ways to prevent liver cancer. Not only should children be vaccinated with hepatitis B vaccine when they are born, but adults who have not been vaccinated with hepatitis B vaccine or have not had it can also be vaccinated with hepatitis B vaccine. But it is estimated that it will take decades to see the effect. In addition to the injection of hepatitis B vaccine, attention should also be paid to the control of other transmission routes, such as diet, surgery, blood transfusion, injection, acupuncture and hairdressing, among which the prevention of acupuncture and blood transfusion can effectively prevent the occurrence of type C and thus prevent liver cancer. One of the causes of liver cancer is caused by viruses. To prevent viruses, we must start with food hygiene and lifestyle habits. Wash your hands frequently and use separate tableware when eating.

Do not eat moldy food

This type of food contains aflatoxin, which can easily cause liver cancer. If the temperature in the plastic bag is high, the temperature in the grain is high, and the moisture content is greater than 16%, it will mold. Moldy food must be dried. For example, corn, peanuts, peanut oil, peanut butter, etc. are foods that are prone to mold, so these foods should be carefully stored.

Reduce nitrosamine intake and quit smoking and drinking

Drinking wine, beer, or a small amount of alcohol can promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis, but this is not actually true. Drinking alcohol can easily cause or alcoholic liver disease.

Improved drinking water

In rural areas with high incidence of the disease, various measures are adopted in conjunction with the patriotic health campaign to improve the drinking water environment, switching from drinking ditch and pond water to well water, deep well water, and rainwater, or setting up small water plants. Cities use unpolluted water sources as tap water sources and prevent environmental pollution.

Appropriate selenium supplementation

For people with low selenium level, selenium-rich yeast, selenium polysaccharides and selenium-rich salts are used to supplement selenium and improve blood selenium levels.
