To prevent liver cancer, do these two examinations in time and be aware of the five symptoms of liver cancer

The mortality rate of liver cancer is relatively high. In my country, nearly 200,000 people die from liver cancer every year, and one liver cancer patient dies every 3 minutes. Liver cancer has become a major threat to human life and health. So what are the symptoms of liver cancer? Let's take a look!

Liver cancer symptoms

1. White palms

The hands of healthy people are red, but the palms of liver cancer patients will turn white due to decreased liver function and hormone imbalance.

2. Fever

The death of cancer cells will cause the patient to have a fever. Tumor necrosis will also emit heat and the patient will have symptoms of fever. Cancer cells attacking the immune system can also induce a fever.

3. Yellow body

If you find that your skin is turning yellow, especially your eyes, it may not be due to malnutrition. It may also be acute hepatitis or liver cancer. You should go to the hospital for examination and treatment as soon as possible.

4. Diarrhea

Diarrhea is a common symptom. We all suffer from diarrhea at ordinary times. However, if diarrhea occurs frequently and is not caused by food or eating habits, then we must prevent the occurrence of liver cancer.

5. Pain in the liver area

Approximately 85% of hepatitis B patients will experience pain in the liver area. This pain is characterized by chronic, persistent dull pain, and is also accompanied by fatigue, nausea, vomiting, and poor appetite. When bleeding occurs under the liver capsule or blood passes through the liver capsule into the abdominal cavity, the pain in the liver area worsens, accompanied by peritoneal injury signs such as upper abdominal tenderness and muscle tightness, which is unbearable.

Although the above symptoms are typical manifestations of liver cancer, please be careful, as such symptoms may also occur in diseases such as hepatitis and cholecystitis, so misdiagnosis is common.

But in general, if the above symptoms are caused by hepatitis, cholecystitis or stomach disease, they can be relieved and cured with reasonable and timely treatment. But if it is liver cancer, it may not be the case. The symptoms may recur, so it is best to do further examination to confirm the diagnosis.

If you suspect liver cancer, you can do the following tests to confirm it:

1. Ultrasound examination:

Ultrasound examination is the most common examination in the diagnosis of liver cancer. It is widely used in the screening of liver cancer and follow-up after treatment because of its simple operation, low price, convenience, non-invasiveness and no side effects on the human body.

2. CT examination

CT examination plays a very important role in the diagnosis of liver cancer. Through abdominal CT enhanced scanning, the specific situation of the tumor can be clearly seen: location, shape, size, number, richness of tumor blood supply and the relationship between intrahepatic ducts. It is very helpful for the staging of liver cancer, further diagnosis, guidance of subsequent treatment and judgment of prognosis.

The diagnosis of liver cancer is not difficult. Usually, the above symptoms combined with ultrasound examination and CT examination can confirm the diagnosis. When diagnosed with liver cancer, it must be treated in time so that you can get rid of the torture of liver cancer as soon as possible.
