Early prostate cancer symptoms

Early prostate cancer symptoms

Among the many male diseases, although the incidence of prostate cancer is not particularly high, we should still actively respond to and prevent the onset of prostate cancer, because this disease can cause great physical harm to patients. The onset of prostate cancer has a certain relationship with the age of the patient, so middle-aged and elderly people must pay more attention to it.

The early symptoms of prostate cancer include compression symptoms, which are also one of the first symptoms that prostate cancer patients will experience. The main manifestation is difficulty urinating. At the beginning, patients will show symptoms such as thin urine stream, short range, and interrupted urine flow. Severe patients will also have symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, pain, and difficulty urinating, and even urinary incontinence. When the tumor compresses the patient's rectum, the patient will also experience symptoms of difficulty defecating and intestinal obstruction. When the tumor compresses the patient's nerves, there will also be symptoms of perineal pain, and this pain will gradually radiate to the patient's sciatic nerve.

Patients with prostate cancer may also experience symptoms of metastasis in the early stages. This symptom is mainly caused by the fact that prostate cancer has invaded the patient's bladder, seminal vesicles, and vascular nerve bundles. The main symptoms are hematuria, hematospermia, and impotence. However, if the tumor invades the patient's pelvic lymphatic tissue, the patient will also have symptoms of edema in both lower limbs. Moreover, this disease often metastasizes to the bones, and the patient will have symptoms such as bone pain and paraplegia. When the patient's bone marrow is invaded, there will be symptoms of anemia and decreased blood count.

Once a male friend finds himself having the above symptoms, he is very likely to have prostate cancer. At this time, he should be diagnosed and treated in time. The treatment of this disease is mainly based on radical prostatectomy and radiotherapy. Only after such treatment will the patient have a good effect and there will be hope of recovery from prostate cancer.
