Prostate cancer is a malignant tumor with a high incidence rate. The disease brings inconvenience to many men, damages the prostate and the health of the whole body, causes urinary pain, frequent urination and difficulty urinating, and affects the quality of life of male patients. A comprehensive physical examination is needed during the onset of the disease. Only through the examination can we understand the condition of the body and help the treatment. Here are four methods for diagnosing prostate cancer. 1. Blood test: The patient's serum prostate-specific antigen is significantly elevated. The PSA of a few patients may not be elevated, but it is easy to fluctuate within the normal range. If the PSA determination is combined with rectal digital examination, the detection rate will be significantly improved. 2. Ultrasound examination shows that most patients have low-echo nodules inside the prostate. Pay attention to distinguish them from inflammation and stones. 3. CT and MRI examinations are very important for patients with prostate cancer. They can clearly show the morphological changes, tumors and metastasis of the patient's prostate. During CT enhanced scanning, the cancer lesions often show low-density areas with unclear enhancement, irregular capsules, and the fat around the glands disappears significantly. Especially after the seminal vesicles are invaded, the seminal vesicle boundaries can be blurred. In some patients, the bladder seminal vesicle angle disappears or the seminal vesicles enlarge. Once the tumor invades the bladder or the organs around the prostate, the pelvic CT will produce corresponding changes. MRI examinations mostly use T2-weighted sequences. Generally, on T2-weighted images, a low-signal defect area will appear inside the high-signal peripheral zone of the prostate. The patient's prostate band structure is severely damaged, especially when the boundary between the peripheral zone and the central zone disappears significantly. This is a sign of prostate cancer. 4. Prostate puncture biopsy: This test can be used to confirm prostate cancer. Tumor tissue that cannot be removed by puncture cannot be used to deny the diagnosis. The four diagnostic methods for prostate cancer are mentioned above. This disease brings more troubles to people, affects men's quality of life, and seriously damages their physical health. The majority of male friends should pay attention to the health status of prostate cancer. If there are abnormalities in the prostate area, they need to increase their vigilance, actively check, and carry out targeted treatment. |
