What is lymphoma?

Lymphoma, also known as malignant lymphoma, refers to the patient's lymphatic system, including lymphocytes, lymphatic vessels, lymph glands and some lymphatic organs or tissues, such as the spleen, thymus and tonsils. What is lymphoma?

The manifestations of malignant lymphoma are relatively hidden and difficult to detect. If symptoms are detected early and treatment is given in time, the cure rate will be greatly improved. Some early signs are particularly noteworthy: progressive lymphadenopathy without a clear cause, especially in terms of location, hardness and activity, which are consistent with the above-mentioned characteristics of malignant lymphoma.

The possibility of malignant lymphoma should be considered in cases of unexplained long-term low-grade fever or periodic fever, especially with itchy skin, sweating, weight loss and superficial lymphadenopathy. "Lymph node tuberculosis" is often treated with anti-tuberculosis treatment, and "chronic lymphadenitis" is generally ineffective with anti-inflammatory treatment; lymphadenopathy and fever sometimes improve, but often recur, and the overall trend is progression;

It is usually a painless, swollen cluster of lymph nodes, and some patients experience systemic symptoms such as fever, night sweats, weight loss, chronic tiredness or weakness, itchy skin, and rash. Lymphoma often begins with swollen lymph nodes, especially in the neck, armpits, or groin.
