2. The course of ovarian cancer is generally short. The tumor can generally grow rapidly in a short period of time. Physical examination often reveals that the tumor is bilateral, relatively fixed in position, with an uneven surface, and sometimes even nodular, and is often accompanied by peritoneal effusion.

3. If a puncture is performed, bloody effusion may be found, and laboratory tests may reveal cancer cells. Generally, the patient is in poor physical condition and has cachexia. Color Doppler ultrasound examination may reveal some liquid dark areas with messy light clusters and spots. The tumor is cystic and solid, and the tumor boundary is unclear.

Ovarian tumor postoperative care

For patients with early ovarian cancer, surgery is generally necessary to completely remove the cancer after a confirmed diagnosis, and the uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries must also be removed. First, about six hours after the operation, the patient needs to lie flat as much as possible, and temporarily abstain from food and drink. After more than six hours after the operation, the patient can be helped to turn over, which helps intestinal peristalsis.

It is also recommended to eat a light, low-calorie diet after surgery, and drink more millet porridge and rice soup. After the bowel movements become normal, you can eat high-protein foods, such as crucian carp soup and black chicken soup.
