What is the difference between bronchogenic carcinoma and lung adenocarcinoma

What is the difference between bronchogenic carcinoma and lung adenocarcinoma?

Bronchogenic carcinoma and lung adenocarcinoma can be distinguished by symptoms, causes, and treatment methods.

1. Symptoms

In the early stage of bronchial lung cancer, symptoms such as irritating cough may occur, with a high metallic sound, and increased sputum volume may occur when secondary infection occurs; if large blood vessels are invaded, severe hemoptysis may occur. In the early stage of lung adenocarcinoma, there are usually no obvious symptoms, but in the late stage, symptoms such as weight loss, fatigue, and loss of appetite may occur.

2. Causes

The cause of bronchial lung cancer is related to many factors, such as smoking, air pollution, occupational carcinogens and diet, which can increase the incidence of the disease. The cause of lung adenocarcinoma is still unclear, but relevant studies have shown that its cause is related to benzopyrene. In addition, it is affected by the interaction of multiple genes and external factors, and long-term development will form a complex pathological process.

3. Treatment methods

Bronchogenic lung cancer requires long-term and continuous treatment. Once the disease occurs, molecular targeted drugs can be used for treatment, such as gefitinib tablets and erlotinib tablets. If the criteria for surgical treatment are met, radical surgery and palliative surgery can be used. Lung adenocarcinoma requires a targeted treatment plan based on the condition, and surgery is the preferred treatment measure, combined with radiotherapy when necessary.

We need to pay attention to lung health in our daily lives. Once unexplained cough occurs, we should pay attention to distinguish between tracheal lung cancer and lung adenocarcinoma, and start targeted treatment after diagnosis.
