Causes of uterine cancer

Causes of uterine cancer

Uterine cancer is a common gynecological malignancy. This disease progresses rapidly and has a high mortality rate. In the early stage of this disease, there are no obvious clinical symptoms, but the treatment effect is good. In the middle and late stages, vaginal bleeding, abdominal pain and other symptoms may occur, and the overall treatment effect is poor. The causes of this disease are related to genetics, diet, environment, viral infection and other factors. HPV virus infection and vaccination have greatly reduced the incidence of cervical cancer. The incidence rate will also be reduced after other causes are treated.

Early symptoms of uterine cancer

Uterine cancer refers to cancer of the uterine body, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, etc. Symptoms that may appear in the early stage include contact vaginal bleeding, lower abdominal pain, abdominal distension, irregular menstruation, etc. Cervical cancer is the most common. Once vaginal bleeding occurs, you must go to the hospital for treatment. The diagnosis can only be confirmed by colposcopy and biopsy. After the diagnosis of cervical cancer, it can also be treated surgically. Surgical radical treatment is the main method, and radiotherapy, chemotherapy and other comprehensive treatments can be used after surgery. The same is true for other types of uterine cancer.

How to Check for Uterine Cancer

Uterine cancer is a common gynecological malignancy in clinical practice. The characteristics of this disease are high biological activity, rapid disease progression, and low five-year survival rate. The common clinical symptom of this disease is irregular vaginal bleeding. Clinically, color Doppler ultrasound, CT and other examinations are often performed to detect lesions. The diagnosis of lesions depends on uterine biopsy. For example, cervical cancer can be diagnosed by cervical scraping, and endometrial cancer can be diagnosed by diagnostic curettage. The treatment of uterine cancer is mainly surgical treatment.
