Which one is better, latte or mocha

When I love drinking coffee, I always struggle over whether to drink latte or mocha. Some people say that both are delicious, while others think that one of them tastes good too. In fact, there is a big difference between mocha and latte. First of all, in terms of taste, chocolate sauce is added to mocha. Those who like chocolate can drink some mocha appropriately. The chocolate flavor is stronger, but since everyone has different tastes, it is recommended to try more and you will find one you like.

Mocha: Made from espresso, fresh milk, cream, and chocolate sauce. Ratio: 1:2:1:1

Latte: Made from espresso and milk foam. 1:2

Cappuccino: half a cup of Italian espresso and half a cup of foamed milk, add milk foam on the coffee, and then sprinkle with chocolate powder or cinnamon powder. 1:1

The proportions vary from place to place and can also be made according to personal preference.

Mocha tastes sweeter and has a stronger chocolate flavor. I think latte tastes better without sugar, and the milk flavor is more fragrant, but it can't cover the taste of coffee. If you don't like bitterness, just add some syrup or brown sugar. Cappuccino looks better, but the milk foam must be made with semi-skimmed milk. Whole milk is too fragrant and will suppress the taste of coffee, and it tastes rather ordinary.

history

The word "coffee" comes from the Greek word "Kaweh", which means "strength and passion". Around the world, people are increasingly drinking coffee. The resulting "coffee culture" fills every moment of life. Whether at home, in the office, or in various social occasions, people are drinking coffee, and it has gradually become associated with fashion and modern life.

The coffee tree is native to the highlands of southwestern Ethiopia in Africa. It is said that more than a thousand years ago, a shepherd discovered that his sheep became very excited and lively after eating a plant, and thus discovered coffee. There are also claims that a wildfire accidentally burned down a coffee forest, and the aroma of roasting coffee attracted the attention of surrounding residents.

The local indigenous people often grind the coffee berries, mix them with animal fat and knead them into many spherical balls.

The people of these indigenous tribes regarded these coffee balls as precious food, which were specially provided to the warriors who were about to go to war. It was not until around the 11th century that people began to boil coffee as a beverage. In the 13th century, Ethiopian troops invaded Yemen and brought coffee to the Arab world.

Because Islam prohibits believers from drinking alcohol, some religious figures believed that this drink stimulated the nerves and violated the doctrine, so they once banned and closed coffee shops. However, the Sultan of Egypt believed that coffee did not violate the doctrine, so he lifted the ban, and coffee drinks quickly became popular in the Arab region.

The word coffee comes from the Arabic word Qahwa, which means "plant drink". It was later spread to Türkiye and became the source of the word in European languages. The methods of coffee planting and production were also continuously improved and gradually perfected by the Arabs.

In the 17th century, the cultivation and production of coffee was monopolized by Arabs. At that time, it was mainly used in medicine and religion. Doctors and monks acknowledged that coffee has the effects of refreshing, invigorating the brain, strengthening the stomach, strengthening the body, and stopping bleeding. Documents recording the use of coffee began in the early 15th century, and it was incorporated into religious ceremonies during this period. It also appeared in the folk as a daily drink. Because Islam strictly prohibits drinking, coffee became an important social drink at that time.
