What are the early symptoms of lymphoma and how to treat it

What are the early symptoms of lymphoma? How to treat it?

The early symptoms of lymphoma mainly include fever, skin itching, alcohol pain, etc.:

1. Fever. At the beginning, some patients mainly have low-grade fever in the afternoon, and the body temperature returns to normal levels after midnight. Later, as the disease progresses, the patient will show remittent fever, generally starting to have a fever in the afternoon and approaching normal levels by the next morning. Patients in the late stage may show intermittent fever and maintain a cyclical state.

2. Skin itching. Skin itching is a relatively specific manifestation of lymphoma, and generally 85% of patients may experience this symptom. Skin scratches are common on the trunk and limbs, and focal itching may also occur in the area of lymphatic drainage of the lesion.

3 Alcohol pain. About 1.6% to 5.3% of patients will experience pain in the swollen lymph nodes after drinking. This is more common in women, mediastinal lesions and nodular sclerosis of Hodgkin's lymphoma HL. Due to the characteristics of this symptom, it can appear earlier than other symptoms and X-ray manifestations, so it has a certain diagnostic significance. In addition, alcohol pain disappears after the lesion is relieved, and alcohol pain reappears after the lesion relapses.

Treatment of lymphoma:

1. Radiotherapy: CO-60 or accelerator is commonly used, with a dose of 40-60Gy/4-6 weeks, depending on the condition.

2. Immunotherapy: After the completion of radiotherapy and chemotherapy for some lymphomas, interferon treatment can improve the treatment rate.

3. The monoclonal antibody Rituximab is effective against CD20-positive B-cell malignant lymphoma.

4. Bone marrow transplantation/peripheral blood hematopoietic stem cell transplantation: It is currently the best choice for patients with highly malignant lymphoma, relapse after some treatments, or failure to recover after the first treatment.

5. Surgical treatment: limited to biopsy for a clear diagnosis, or resection of lymphoma in extranodal organs, such as bones, intestines, lungs, kidneys, testicles, etc. Radiotherapy or chemotherapy is still required after surgery.
