What is the reason for frequent sweating?

Introduction: Sweating in summer is a normal condition, but if you keep sweating a lot, you should be alert to some diseases. What is the reason for excessive sweating? What diseases should you pay attention to? What are the reasons for excessive sweating? I hope everyone can pay enough attention to it.

Hypoglycemia: There are many causes of hypoglycemia, the main manifestation of which is symptoms of sympathetic nerve overexcitation. When an attack occurs, the sudden drop in blood sugar stimulates the sympathetic nerve excitement. The release of large amounts of adrenaline can cause the patient to become pale, sweat coldly, and have tremors in the hands and feet.

Diabetes: Diabetes is often accompanied by autonomic dysfunction, which often leads to abnormal increase in sweating. However, the patient also has "three mores and one less": that is, "eating more, drinking more, urinating more and losing weight." The diagnosis is usually not difficult to make through blood sugar and urine sugar tests.

Hyperthyroidism is an overactive thyroid gland. Heat intolerance and excessive sweating are one of the characteristics of this disease. It also manifests itself in symptoms such as mental tension, personality changes, irritability, inability to concentrate, and difficulty falling asleep. In addition, people with hyperthyroidism have an increased appetite and eat more, but they become thinner. In hyperthyroidism, gastrointestinal function is enhanced, and most patients have increased frequency of bowel movements, as well as symptoms of palpitations and decreased work efficiency.

A common symptom of pheochromocytoma is profuse sweating. The sweating is paroxysmal and sometimes continuous, but facial flushing or blanching may occur at the same time during paroxysmal attacks. There may also be symptoms such as palpitations, trembling hands, and cold limbs. However, the onset of this disease is often accompanied by a significant increase in blood pressure and the resulting headache symptoms.

Many people know that sweat contains a lot of sodium chloride, so they should supplement salt if they sweat a lot, but some people ignore the fact that they should supplement calcium after sweating.

According to research by experts from relevant hospitals, every 1000 ml of sweat contains 1 mg equivalent of calcium. Normally, the loss of calcium in sweat every day is only 15 mg, which is not very important. However, people working in high temperature environments in summer lose more than 100 ml of calcium in sweat per hour. This amount accounts for almost 30% of the total calcium excretion, which can easily lead to hypocalcemia, manifested as cramps in the patients' hands and feet, muscle twitches. Long-term calcium deficiency can cause adults to suffer from rickets, easy fractures, and frequent back and leg pain. In order to prevent hypocalcemia after sweating, you should eat more calcium-containing foods such as milk, dairy products, fish, seafood and green leafy vegetables.
