Open the outer shell, then lift it above the air conditioner. It will automatically lock in place without worrying about it falling off.

You can see two plastic frames inside, one on the left and one on the right. Inside this frame is a fiber mesh, which is used to filter the air conditioned air and is the part where the most dirt is hidden. Of course there is a lot of dust on it.

Gently push the net with your hands. Remember that there are two fixed places on a frame, and both sides need to be pushed upwards. Remove the filter.

Take it to the bathroom or a place with water, place it on the ground, rinse it directly with water, and then brush it gently a few times with a brush.

Finally, use laundry detergent or detergent and brush it several times. When it is very clean, use a clean dry cloth to absorb the moisture. It does not need to be too dry, there is no problem.

Precautions

During disassembly and assembly, remember to cover the bottom of the air conditioner with newspapers to prevent dust from falling.

After installation, remember to plug in the power and let the air conditioner work for a while, so that you can dry the filter and feel the pleasure after cleaning.

During the sorting work, if the screws of the outdoor rack are found to be loose, they should be tightened and reinforced. If the rack is found to be severely rusted, it should be replaced immediately. For the collapsed heat exchange fins, use tweezers to carefully trim them.
