Ignoring 7 daily necessities may cost you your life

In our daily home life, we are often invaded by bacteria. Therefore, we must pay attention to the cleanliness and hygiene of our home. Below, we will introduce daily necessities in our daily home that are prone to breed bacteria. Don’t forget to disinfect them when the sun is shining, because sunlight is the best disinfectant to deal with these hidden germs.

1. Basin and bucket

Various basins and buckets used in the bathroom and kitchen will accumulate dirt over time, so the basins and buckets should be exposed to the sun frequently.

2. Slippers

Slippers for family members, especially for guests.

Three: Towel

Towels are usually placed in the bathroom. Due to lack of air circulation, it is difficult for them to dry thoroughly, and germs are very likely to breed. Therefore, towels should be washed and often taken outdoors for "sunlight disinfection".

Four: Shopping bag

This is the most easily overlooked sanitary blind spot. Long-term use will cause it to be stained with various food residues and dirt, creating a good growth environment for bacteria. So shopping bags should be cleaned regularly and sterilized in sunlight.

Five: pillow core

The head is prone to sweating in summer, and the pillow core can easily become a place to hide germs. After drying in the sun, the pillow core is not only soft and odorless, but also more comfortable to sleep on and can improve sleep quality.

6. Rag

Rags accumulate a lot of bacteria due to contact with dirt. If they are not disinfected, the places they wipe will become "dirtier". Therefore, you should take out the rag and dry it in the sun from time to time to kill most of the bacteria. In addition, the rag should be changed frequently.

7. Toothbrush, chopsticks

Dental experts have tested used toothbrushes and performed bacterial cultures, and found that many toothbrushes were contaminated with Candida albicans, hemolytic Streptococcus, and Klebsiella pneumoniae. These bacteria invade the human body through direct swallowing or broken gingival mucosa and oropharyngeal mucosa, and may cause gingivitis, chronic pharyngitis, stomatitis, enteritis, sepsis, septicemia and other diseases. Therefore, dental experts recommend replacing toothbrushes regularly, at least once a quarter.

As bamboo and wooden chopsticks are used for a long time, the tips become rough due to long-term scrubbing and are prone to residual bacteria. It is generally best to replace them with new ones after about half a year. When the chopsticks become worn, they should not be used.
