What is the usage and dosage of polyene phosphatidylcholine injection

When suffering from liver diseases, such as chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, hepatic coma, etc., polyene phosphatidylcholine injection is usually required for treatment. Due to long-term medication, the usage and dosage of polyene phosphatidylcholine injection must be mastered so that better treatment can be carried out. So, what is the usage and dosage of polyene phosphatidylcholine injection? Let's take a detailed look at it below.

Each 5ml ampoule of polyene phosphatidylcholine injection can be injected intravenously or infused intravenously.

Intravenous injection:

In addition to doctor's prescription, adults and adolescents generally slowly inject 1-2 ampoules per day, and in severe cases, inject 2-4 ampoules per day. Two ampoules can be injected at one time.

Use only clear solutions.

Do not mix with any other injections!

Intravenous infusion:

In severe cases, 2-4 ampoules are infused daily in addition to the doctor's prescription. If necessary, the daily dose can be increased to 6-8 ampoules.

It is strictly forbidden to dilute with electrolyte solutions (physiological sodium chloride solution, Ringer's solution, etc.)!

If you want to prepare intravenous infusion, you can only dilute it with glucose solution without electrolytes (such as: 5%/10% glucose solution; 5% xylitol solution)!

If other infusion solutions are used, the pH value of the mixed solution must not be lower than 7.5, and the prepared solution must remain clear during the infusion process. Only use clear solutions!

When receiving intravenous injection or infusion therapy, it is recommended to start treatment with oral polyene phosphatidylcholine capsules as soon as possible.

Use of OPC Ampoules

Hold the ampoule with the color spot facing upwards. Shake the ampoule to allow any remaining liquid on the top to flow off.

Hold the ampoule with the color spot facing upwards. Break off the top of the ampoule.

The above is an introduction to the usage and dosage of polyene phosphatidylcholine injection. I think everyone should be clear about it. There are strict requirements on the usage and dosage of polyene phosphatidylcholine injection. No matter what disease you suffer from, it is best to use polyene phosphatidylcholine injection under the guidance of a doctor. Do not take it blindly, otherwise it may cause more serious side effects.
