4. Protein should be consumed in moderation. Except for men who engage in high-intensity bodybuilding, most men do not need to supplement too much protein. A moderate amount of meat, poultry, fish or legumes per day, plus an appropriate amount of low-fat dairy products is enough. Even the best protein is useless if the body doesn't need it.
