How to wash away oil stains on clothes

It is inevitable that clothes will get oil stains, but at the same time, oil stains are very stubborn and cannot be removed by ordinary methods. Even if they are removed, the damage to the clothes is great. A piece of clothing that is not cheap may be ruined by oil stains. So is there any effective way to remove oil stains from clothes? Let’s learn together.

1. Use toothpaste

If clothes are stained with animal or plant oils, you can apply toothpaste on the stain, rub it gently a few times, and then wash it with water, and the oil stain can be removed.

2. White flower oil

When paint is rubbed on clothes, you can immediately apply white flower oil to the rubbed area and then rinse it off.

Three: hot water scrubbing

If your clothes are stained with tea or coffee, rub them with hot water immediately to remove the stains. For those that have been there for a long time, you must rub them with a mixture of glycerin and egg yolk, then rinse them with clean water after they are dry; or apply glycerin to the stain, sprinkle a little borax, and then soak it in boiling water.

4. Cold water soak

When clothes are stained with soup, you must immediately soak the clothes in cold water for a few minutes, then rub soap on the stain and scrub it. If it is an old stain, use an old toothbrush dipped in gasoline to rub the stained area to remove the grease first, then soak the stain in 1:5 ammonia solution and rub it.

Five: Refrigerator

First put the clothes stained with chewing gum into a plastic bag and freeze them in the refrigerator for a few hours. After the chewing gum on the clothes becomes hard, take it out and gently rub it to remove it. If there is still a little bit that cannot be removed, use cotton dipped in white vinegar and gently scrub the area to remove it.

From the above introduction, we can see that the removal methods for different oil stains are not exactly the same, but there is a common principle, which is to deal with the oil stains in the shortest possible time, so that the oil stains have not completely penetrated into the clothes, and it will naturally be much easier to clean.
