What does blood circulation include

Our blood is constantly circulating in the body, and only this constant circulation can ensure that our body is in a relatively healthy state. If the blood circulation is not smooth. Then our body is about to show symptoms of disease. Therefore, we should pay more attention to keeping the blood flowing smoothly in our body in normal times. So what does blood circulation include? Let us introduce it to you below.

The circulatory system is the channel through which blood flows in the body, and is divided into two parts: the cardiovascular system and the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is an auxiliary system to the venous system. The circulatory system consists of blood, blood vessels and the heart.

The cardiovascular system is a closed transport system consisting of the heart, arteries, capillaries and veins. The heart beats continuously, providing power to push blood to circulate in it, providing the body's various cells with the substances they need for survival, including nutrients and oxygen, and also taking away carbon dioxide, a product of cellular metabolism. At the same time, many hormones and other information substances are transported through the blood to reach their target organs, thereby coordinating the functions of the entire body. Therefore, maintaining the blood circulation system in a good working condition is a condition for the survival of the body, and the core of this is to maintain blood pressure at a normal level.

The human circulatory system consists of two parts: systemic circulation and pulmonary circulation. The systemic circulation begins in the left ventricle. After the blood is pumped out from the left ventricle, it flows through the aorta and several arterial branches derived from it, delivering the blood to the corresponding organs. The arteries branch out multiple times, their diameter gradually becomes thinner, and the number of blood vessels gradually increases, eventually reaching the capillaries, where they exchange substances with tissue cells through the intercellular fluid. The oxygen and nutrients in the blood are absorbed by the tissues, while the carbon dioxide and other metabolic products in the tissues enter the blood, turning arterial blood into venous blood. Medical Education Network compiled that the diameter of the veins here gradually becomes thicker and the number gradually decreases until finally all the veins converge into the superior vena cava and the inferior vena cava, and the blood returns to the right atrium from there, thus completing the systemic circulation process.

The pulmonary circulation begins in the right ventricle. Venous blood is pumped out by the right ventricle and reaches the capillary network around the alveoli through the pulmonary artery, where it releases carbon dioxide and absorbs fresh oxygen, turning venous blood into arterial blood, and then flows back to the left atrium through the pulmonary veins. The blood in the left atrium enters the left ventricle again and is distributed throughout the body through the general circulation. In this way, blood continuously circulates through the systemic circulation and pulmonary circulation, completing the important task of blood circulation.

After understanding what blood circulation includes, we must pay special attention in our daily life not to let the blood become viscous, as this will cause great trouble to normal blood circulation. If the blood viscosity is severe, it may cause more physical disease symptoms. You must pay special attention to your daily diet and avoid eating greasy and fatty foods.
