Drugs that are sensitive to E. coli

Many people may not be so clear about the drugs that are sensitive to E. coli. In fact, after being infected with E. coli, the most important thing is to treat it from the diet. There are many foods that can no longer be eaten, especially when cooking food by yourself, you must keep it clean and hygienic. If necessary, you can use some anti-infection drugs for treatment according to the cause of your illness.

4. Drinking water should be from the tap and preferably boiled before drinking.

5. Buy fresh food from reliable places and do not patronize unlicensed hawkers. Don't eat unclean things

6. Avoid eating high-risk foods, such as unpasteurized milk, undercooked hamburgers, ground beef and other meat products.

7. When cooking food, you should wear a clean, washable apron and a hat.

8. Food should be washed thoroughly.

9. Perishable food should be covered and stored in the refrigerator.

10. Raw food and cooked food, especially beef and beef offal, should be handled and stored separately (cooked food should be stored on the upper shelf of the refrigerator, and raw food should be stored on the lower shelf) to avoid cross contamination.

11. The refrigerator should be cleaned and snow-melted regularly, and the temperature should be kept at 4 degrees Celsius or below.

12. E. coli O157:H7 can be destroyed if all parts of food are heated to 75°C; therefore, ground beef and hamburger patties should be cooked thoroughly at 75°C for 2 to 3 minutes until the cooked meat is thoroughly browned and the juices run clear.

13. Do not handle cooked food with bare hands; wear gloves if necessary.

14. Food should be eaten as soon as possible after being cooked.

15. If you need to keep leftover cooked food, it should be refrigerated and consumed as soon as possible. Reheat thoroughly before serving. Spoiled food should be thrown away.

16. When you are weak, aging, on business trips, traveling, or in other stressful situations, you can supplement your diet with lactic acid bacteria to prevent the onset of E. coli.

Treatment

The clinical treatment for E. coli O157:H7 infection is mainly supportive treatment. If a patient has diarrhea, it is important to replace lost water and electrolytes. About 50% of patients with renal complications require special treatment or blood transfusion when acute symptoms occur. Anti-gram-negative drugs are available, but some are ineffective.
