Introduction to the use of catheter tampons

In daily life, women have many things to pay attention to during menstruation. The choice of sanitary napkins alone is a headache. Now the newly-emerged catheter tampons are very popular among women. Unlike traditional sanitary napkins, it is built-in, which can effectively prevent side leakage, and you can also relax when sleeping. Next, we will introduce to you in detail how to use catheter tampons.

Before using a catheter tampon, be sure to clean your hands to avoid secondary contamination of the tampon. Pinch the tampon with the thumb and index finger of both hands and gently pull it in opposite directions. When you hear a "tick", the catheter becomes longer, revealing a transparent section. Then find a more comfortable position, pinch the tail of the thick tube with the middle finger and thumb, let the rope hang naturally, and gently insert it upwards towards the back until the fingers touch the body. Then pinch the transparent part with the thumb and index finger of one hand, and use the other hand to gently push the tail of the catheter in until you feel resistance and can no longer move forward.

Pull out the catheter, the tampon is already in your body, and the drawstring is hanging outside. It will be used when you want to remove the tampon later. When you don't feel the tampon, it means it is in the correct position. If you feel uncomfortable, it means that you have not pushed it in deep enough and you need to replace it with a new catheter-type tampon and reinsert it.

Catheter-type tampons generally include three models: Light (small amount)/Regular (normal)/Super (large amount)/Superplus (super large amount). You can choose the appropriate model according to different stages. Tampons need to be replaced every two hours to avoid bacterial growth and unnecessary impact on health.

The above content is an introduction to the use of catheter tampons. The use of tampons is not difficult. You just need to follow the above steps carefully. However, you must remember to wash your hands when using or changing tampons. Cleanliness and hygiene are very important to avoid some gynecological diseases.
