What should I do if there are mites on my bed in the bedroom? Four tips to help you get rid of mites easily

In recent years, as people's health awareness has gradually increased, many people have begun to pay attention to microorganisms such as mites, because mites not only breed quickly, but also pose a threat to the health of human skin. So what should we do if there are mites in the bed we live in? Let's find out together!

There are the following methods to prevent mites:

1. Keep the air dry and ventilated. Try to reduce dust.

2. Clean the dusty corners in your living environment in a timely and regular manner, such as air conditioning filters, mattresses, carpets, and places for growing flowers and fish.

3. When using air conditioning, open windows regularly to circulate air.

4. Use less carpets in the room. To eliminate mites, once you find carpet mites, you can smash mothballs with a hammer, sprinkle the mothball crumbs evenly on the mattress, and then cover the bed with it for an hour (you can close the door). Afterwards, remove the mothball crumbs, wipe the mattress with a rag and clean water (twice), and then place the mattress in the sun to allow the mothball smell to evaporate as soon as possible.

It is best to remove dandruff once a week. Rinsing with cold water or washing with detergent cannot kill the mites in the mat.

There are two effective ways to prevent mites at home. One is to use pesticides that are non-toxic to the human body to kill mites, that is, apply the pesticide on the mat and then wash it. The second method is to scald the bedding with boiling water. This is an economical and effective method of killing mites without any drug residue. When preventing mites, you should pay attention to the fact that mites are one of the main causes of allergic rhinitis. Mites like humid, high temperature, cotton and linen fabrics or dusty environments. A humid and hot environment is the season when mites grow and reproduce most vigorously. These mites will become floating objects in the air and cause a series of allergic reactions after being inhaled by sensitive people. Therefore, dryness and ventilation are the best weapons to eliminate them.

Also, note that:

1. Mattresses and pillows should be packed with dust-proof cloth for storage.

2. Wash all quilt covers and bed sheets in hot water at about 60°C every month to kill the mites hiding in them.

3. Don’t lay carpets in the bedroom, just lay tiles or wooden floors.

4. Mop the floor with a wet mop every day.
