2. Application

1. Mugwort is a traditional Chinese medicinal material. It is mostly used in compound decoctions and is still used by most doctors and hospitals. However, it is still troublesome to use. After the process of extraction and refinement, the original ingredients of the medicinal material are retained, the trouble of decoction is reduced, and the efficacy of the original medicinal material is not affected.

2. The extraction rate of mugwort is generally 20%, that is, the ratio of medicinal materials and extracts is 5:1. The dosage of mugwort extract can be determined according to this ratio. If the prescription requires 10g, only 2g of extract is needed.

3. The medicinal materials used in traditional Chinese medicine foot bathing in the foot bath industry are also mainly mugwort, but they are generally made by the merchants themselves. If mugwort extract is used, this process can be omitted and the mugwort extract powder can be directly dissolved in water for use.

The industrialized production of mugwort extract facilitates the use of mugwort medicinal materials.
