What are the dangers of procrastination

Procrastination is a postponing behavior with procrastination as the main symptom, which may be accompanied by some other symptoms. Therefore, procrastination is very harmful to the human body. If procrastination is not treated, it is likely to induce anxiety or depression, which will have more serious consequences.

1. Destroy teamwork and interpersonal relationships;

It can even wear down the body. German research shows that chronic and long-term procrastination behavior indicates underlying psychological and physiological disorders. Due to repeated delays, they missed physical examinations and the opportunity for early treatment of some diseases. On the other hand, people who procrastinate have poor self-discipline: they tend to stay up late and are more likely to drink and smoke. It is also accompanied by insomnia, stomach problems, and a higher chance of colds and flu. Similarly, even if they decide to quit smoking, exercise, lose weight, etc., it is difficult for them to take substantive steps.

2. Decline in living standards

No one would willingly indulge in depravity and passive resistance from the bottom of their hearts. When a procrastinator realizes his or her procrastinating thoughts and faces the negative consequences of procrastination, he or she will experience emotions such as depression, irritability, frustration, and self-blame. However, when he or she makes up his or her mind to act, he or she will continue to procrastinate. Over time, the procrastinator's negative emotions will continue to accumulate. This vicious cycle will greatly damage the subject's mental health and seriously reduce the individual's quality of life.

3. Other hazards

When you cannot complete a task on time, if this continues for a long time, you will feel that you have a physical illness. This will also have an impact on your heart in the long run, making you lack confidence and doubt your life. I feel listless and suspect that I am in a vegetative state, or maybe I am having a heart attack? Neither. Many times you can't do your work because you don't want to do it. If the above situation occurs, there is a 95% chance that your body is healthy and you don't have any disease at all, except for procrastination.
