The main manifestations of overnutrition are these

Nowadays, the living standard is getting higher and higher. Many parents love their children and are always worried that their children are not getting enough nutrition and that they will not grow taller or stronger. Therefore, they encourage their children to eat more and better. Many children eat without restraint, which results in overnutrition. Do you know the manifestations of overnutrition?

1. Excessive protein intake After protein is digested and metabolized, nitrogen is produced and excreted in the urine through the kidneys. The amount of nitrogen excreted by the kidneys is limited, and they cannot bear too much. Long-term excessive protein intake can cause high blood pressure.

2. Too much salt. The salt used in cooking is chemically called sodium chloride. The chloride ions and sodium ions are metabolized and excreted through the kidneys in the urine. Excessive salt consumption can cause salt poisoning, and children often become irritable and restless. Long-term excessive salt consumption can lead to high blood pressure.

3. Too much fat: Giving children too much fat can easily cause them to become obese, put too much strain on the heart, and cause cardiovascular diseases. Generally speaking, children who consume too much fat within one year old will most likely suffer from heart disease in adulthood. Therefore, children should eat less fatty meat and other foods.

4. Too many carbohydrates When children eat too much sugar (refined carbohydrates), except for meeting normal metabolic needs, the rest will be converted into fat and stored in the body, resulting in obesity and cardiovascular disease.

5. Excessive vitamins: Appropriate supplementation of vitamins plays a certain role in maintaining normal metabolism of the human body and promoting the growth and development of children. However, blindly giving children large amounts of vitamins can be harmful to their bodies.

Once we suffer from overnutrition, we must seek timely treatment to avoid other complications.
