How to get rid of rosacea effectively?

Rosacea is the common red nose we see. It is a chronic infectious inflammation on the nose and also a skin disease. In severe cases, it can spread to the face, forehead and chin. Symptoms include dilation of capillaries, excessive secretion of skin oil, and redness of the epidermis. When the skin hair follicles are blocked, sarcomas will form. The treatment for rosacea is usually a combination of Chinese and Western medicine, which is more effective.

Since the cause is unknown, treatment is mostly symptomatic. Try to prevent factors that aggravate the disease, adjust the endocrine system, correct gastrointestinal dysfunction, ban smoking, coffee, spicy and irritating foods, avoid overeating, keep bowel movements regular, avoid using alkaline soaps, alcohol, detergents, dyes, astringents, etc. that irritate the skin, and avoid exposure to the sun and excessive cold or heat. Live a regular life and avoid mental stress.

1. Systemic treatment

Antibiotics such as metronidazole, tetracycline, and clarithromycin can be used. For those who do not respond to antibiotic treatment, small doses of isotretinoin can be taken orally. Estrogen treatment also has a certain effect on postmenopausal patients with severe rosacea.

2. Local treatment

Clindamycin gel, benzoyl peroxide gel, fusidic acid cream, mupirocin ointment, etc. can be used. Metronidazole gel, tinidazole gel, low-concentration retinoic acid preparations, etc. can also be used. It has bactericidal and anti-inflammatory effects, promotes the regression of erythematous papules and pustules, and maintenance use of the medication can reduce recurrence.

3. Physical and surgical treatment

Laser treatment is more effective for patients with telangiectasia. During the rhinoplasty stage, surgical excision can also be performed to achieve a cosmetic effect.

Oral medication for rosacea:

1. Take 9 grams of honeysuckle, 15 grams of Anemarrhena asphodeloides, and 30 grams of gypsum, put them into a pot, then add 500 ml of water, decoct them together, take 30 ml of the medicinal juice and cook it with 60 grams of japonica rice into porridge, and eat it before going to bed every night.

2. Put an appropriate amount of Quisqualis chinensis into an iron pan and stir-fry over low heat until it has a slight aroma. Wait for it to cool down, then soak it in sesame oil for 1 week. The patient should take 3-5 pieces of Sijunziren with warm water before going to bed every night. One week is a course of treatment.

3. Take loquat leaves (remove the hair and dry them), grind them into powder, mix them with tea to make 3-6 grams, and take it 3 times a day. It can effectively treat lung heat, especially rosacea.
