What is the normal value of human white blood cells

There are red blood cells and white blood cells in people's bodies. There is a detailed table of the normal ratio of these two cells, which can help us perceive whether the white blood cells in the body are in a normal ratio. If the quantity and number of white blood cells cannot reach the normal ratio, it means that the body may encounter blood diseases. White blood cells will also increase or decrease with the change of seasons.

Normal white blood cell count for adults

(1) White blood cell count: The normal white blood cell count in the peripheral blood of an adult is 4 to 10×109/L. If it is less than 4×109/L, it is leukocytosis, and if it is more than 10×109/L, it is leukocytosis.

(2) White blood cell differential count : The white blood cells that can be seen in the peripheral blood can generally be divided into five types: neutrophils, eosinophils, alkaliphils, lymphocytes, and monocytes. Among them, neutrophils are the most numerous, followed by lymphocytes, and other white blood cells are very rare.

The so-called white blood cell differential count is to calculate the percentage of each type of white blood cell in its total number. Normal values are: neutrophils: 50-70%, eosinophils: 0.5-5%, alkaliphils: 0-1%, lymphocytes: 20-40%, monocytes 1-8%.

(3) The white blood cell count can be affected by disease factors as well as physiological factors and other reasons. The white blood cell count can be increased after a meal, during strenuous exercise, in cold weather, in pain, and in fear. The white blood cell count is higher in winter than in summer, and higher in the afternoon than in the morning. Pregnancy can also cause the white blood cell count to increase.
