What are some tips to relieve neck sprain?

Women usually wear high heels. In winter, it snows and the roads are slippery. It is easy to sprain your ankle while walking on the road in high heels. If you accidentally sprain your hamstring, not only will you be unable to walk for ten days or half a month, but you may also injure your bones. If you sprain your hamstring, you can observe it for the first time. If there is local bruising or redness and swelling, you should go to the hospital for examination in time. If necessary, apply local medicine and massage to relieve the pain. You need to ask your doctor for these.

Steps/Methods:

1. If you sprain your foot, your ankle joint will be damaged. Depending on the severity of the injury, a mild case can be recovered within three weeks, while a serious case will take a longer time to recover, generally requiring more than a month. Patients must pay attention to rest and reduce strenuous exercise with the affected limb.

2 In the early stages of sprain, you can use cold compress first, because the ruptured small blood vessels are bleeding at this time, and cold compress can make the blood vessels contract and clot, thereby controlling the development of the injury. Hot compress can be used after 24 hours. At this time, the bleeding from the ruptured blood vessels will stop, and hot compress can promote the dissipation of blood stasis around the sprain.

3 In the early stage after sprain, no oral medication is needed, nor is it advisable to apply external blood-activating drugs, otherwise there will be more blood flow and greater swelling. After 24 hours, you can use some safflower oil-based external medications to massage the affected area, or you can take some Yunnan Baiyao and other drugs internally. After the swelling subsides, there is no need to take any oral or external medications.

4 After spraining your foot, you should move moderately. In the early stages of sprain, swelling and pain will gradually increase, so you should stop moving and raise the affected limb. After the condition stabilizes, as long as it is not very painful, you can gradually increase the activities of the foot and ankle for exercise.

Note:

If the swelling of the ankle does not subside after more than 10 days, you should go to the hospital for further examination and actively receive treatment to prevent blood stasis and adhesion formation. If the ankle joint is stiff and ankylosing for a long time, it will cause ossification around the joint over time. Severe cases can cause disability.
