How much pepper should be put in foot bath

It is generally recommended to use 30-50 grams of Sichuan peppercorns. It is best to put it in a cotton bag, tie the rope tightly, add water and boil it, then use the water to soak your feet.

The water temperature for soaking feet in pepper water should not be too high. Too high water temperature can easily lead to excessive congestion of the feet and cause insufficient blood supply to the heart, brain, kidneys and other organs, and some may even cause dizziness.

How to soak your feet in Sichuan pepper

Wrap 50 grams of Sichuan peppercorns (1 jin is divided into 10 portions) in a cotton cloth and tie it tightly with a rope. Put the Sichuan peppercorns into water and heat it until the water boils. Then turn off the heat for about half a minute to one minute (not too long). Pour the Sichuan peppercorn water into a basin of cold water until it reaches a moderate temperature. When soaking your feet, gradually add hot Sichuan peppercorn water to maintain the temperature. It is not recommended to reuse pepper bags. You can use them 2-3 times at most before replacing them with new ones.
