What are the effects of Modd Dispersible Tablets

I believe many of my friends have not heard of Mode Dispersible Tablets. In fact, this is a white tablet used to treat upper and lower respiratory tract infections, otitis media and other diseases caused by obstruction of cellular immune function. It is mainly suitable for adults and children, and is prohibited for pregnant women. So besides this, what other functions does Mode Dispersible Tablets have? You can deepen your understanding of this medicine by reading the following article.

First pharmacological action

This product is a synthetic oral immunostimulant that works by stimulating and regulating cell-mediated immune responses.

Second toxicology study

1. Repeated dose toxicity: Rats were gavaged with 200, 400, and 800 mg/kg/day of this product for 52 consecutive weeks. The body weight of female animals in the medium and high dose groups increased significantly. The urine pH and urine protein of animals in the 800 mg/kg/day group (equivalent to 4.9 times the clinically recommended maximum dose based on body surface area) increased. Histological examination showed an increase in the outer cortical cells of the cervical lymph nodes of male animals in the high dose group, and mucosal hyperplasia in the stomach and duodenal distension of a few female animals, which may be related to the administration. Rats were gavaged with 1200 mg/kg/day of this drug for 4 consecutive weeks (equivalent to 7.3 times the clinically recommended maximum dose based on body surface area), which caused diarrhea, sedation, decreased responsiveness, decreased activity and mild enlargement of the thyroid gland in a few animals, but no histological changes. When Beagle dogs were gavaged with this drug for 52 consecutive weeks at a dose of 600 mg/kg/day (equivalent to 12.2 times the clinically recommended maximum dose based on body surface area), diarrhea, increased kidney weight, slight dilatation of renal tubules and interstitial fibrosis were occasionally observed in a few animals, and a slight increase in serum urea nitrogen and creatinine.

2. Genetic toxicity: The results of Ames test, L5178Y cell gene mutation test, CHO cell chromosome aberration test, mammalian HelaS3 cell DNA damage test and mouse micronucleus test were all negative.

3. Reproductive toxicity:

General reproductive toxicity: Oral administration of this product to female and male SD rats at a dose of 600 mg/kg/day (equivalent to 3.6 times the clinically recommended maximum dose based on body surface area) had no effect on fertility, and had no effect on the fertility, somatic movement, behavior and neurological development of F1 and F2 generation mice.

4. Toxicity during the teratogenic sensitive period: No teratogenicity was observed when the female SD rats in the teratogenic sensitive period were given an oral dose of 600 mg/kg/day. When 250, 500 and 1000 mg/kg/day were injected intravenously, the food intake of the female rats decreased and the weight gain slowed down. The implantation rate of animals in the medium and high dose groups decreased, but there was no significant effect on embryonic development. The no-toxic dose was 250 mg/kg/day (equivalent to 12.2 times the clinically recommended daily injection based on body surface area). In New Zealand rabbits during the teratogenic sensitive period, no teratogenicity was observed at oral doses of 300 mg/kg/day and intravenous doses of 500 mg/kg/day.

5. Perinatal toxicity: SD rats were given a continuous oral dose of 600 mg/kg/day from every 16 days of pregnancy to the 21st day after delivery, and the intravenous dose was 500 mg/kg/day. There was no effect on the general condition of the mother rats, fertility, survival, growth and development of the F1 generation of rats.

The above is an introduction to the drug Mode Dispersible Tablets. I hope it will be helpful to you after reading it. Parents must supervise children when taking the medicine to prevent them from eating too much or accidentally eating it and causing harm to their bodies. Finally, I wish you all good health.
