Is Chlorphenamine Huangmin Tablets harmful?

Chlorfenapyr tablets are a compound preparation, which are often used clinically to treat symptoms such as headache, runny nose, sputum, sore throat, etc. caused by colds. Taking them in moderation will not cause any harm to the body, but pregnant women are prohibited from using them, otherwise it will affect the development of the fetus through the placenta; in addition, people with poor liver and kidney function, and patients with glaucoma, hypertension and other diseases should not take them, otherwise the condition will become more serious.

1. Effects of Chlorfen Huangmin Tablets

The main ingredient of Chlorfenapyr tablets is a compound preparation. Used for headache, fever, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, and excessive sputum caused by colds. Chlorpheniramine maleate tablets are sugar-coated tablets or film-coated tablets. They are light yellow in color after removing the coating. They are a compound preparation with the following components: each tablet contains 15 mg of diclofenac sodium, 15 mg of artificial bezoar, and 2.5 mg of chlorpheniramine maleate.

2. Precautions for use of Chlorphenamine Huangmin Tablets

Note: 1. This product can pass through the placenta, so avoid using it during pregnancy.

Note 2: Small amounts of chlorpheniramine can be excreted through breast milk and inhibit lactation.

Note 3: Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney damage or a history of ulcers, especially the elderly.

Note 4: Use with caution in the following situations: bladder neck obstruction, pyloric duodenal obstruction, cardiovascular disease, glaucoma, and hypertension.

Note 5: People who drive motor vehicles, operate machinery or perform aerial work should not take this medicine.

3. Adverse reactions to the use of Chlorfen Huangmin Tablets

There are many case reports of children suffering from hematuria after taking the medicine; followed by stomach discomfort and burning sensation; in addition, there are adverse reactions such as headache, dizziness, drowsiness, rash, palpitations, chest tightness, and sore throat.

Chlorpheniramine yellow-mining tablets are film-coated tablets that appear light yellow after the coating is removed. Used for headache, fever, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, and excessive sputum caused by colds. The dosage is to take orally 1 to 2 tablets 3 times a day or as directed by a doctor.

This product is contraindicated in the treatment of perioperative pain in coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG); in patients with a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation after the use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs; in patients with active peptic ulcers/bleeding, or patients with recurrent ulcers/bleeding in the past; in patients with severe heart failure; in newborns or premature infants; and in patients with liver and kidney dysfunction.
