How to wash chewing gum from clothes

If you are not careful in daily life, chewing gum may stick to your clothes. It is difficult to completely remove the chewing gum using ordinary methods. At this time, you must use some better methods, such as some tips, which can completely remove the chewing gum without damaging the clothes. For example, you can use white wine to clean it. White wine has the effect of dissolving chewing gum. Soak it in white wine for 2 to 3 minutes, and then gently scrape off the chewing gum.

How to clean chewing gum from clothes

1. Apply moisturizing lotion to the chewing gum stained area on the clothes and let it sit for a few minutes. 2. The moistening lotion will reduce the stickiness of the chewing gum, and the chewing gum can be easily removed. 2. Cleaning with white wine 1. Apply white wine on the back of the clothes with chewing gum and soak for 2-3 minutes. 2. Turn the clothes over and slowly scrape off the chewing gum. 3. Egg white removal 1. Place a piece of paper towel under the clothes stained with chewing gum and lay the clothes flat. 2. Dip a cotton swab in egg white and apply it to the gum area and wait for a few minutes. 3. Use a scraper to easily scrape off the chewing gum.

4. Freeze 1. Fold the clothes where the gum is stuck outwards. 2. Place the clothing in a plastic bag, making sure that no gum is stuck to the bag. If you can't solve the problem of the gum stuck to the bag, then you can just put your clothes on top of the bag. 3. Seal the bag and place it in the freezer for a few hours until it is frozen solid. If you place your clothes in bags, make sure there is enough space so that the clothes cannot touch other items in the refrigerator, except, of course, the bag they are placed in. 4. Take the bag containing the clothes out of the refrigerator, open the bag and take out the clothes. Use a blunt knife or butter knife to quickly peel the gum off the clothing (avoiding piercing the clothing). Don't wait until the gum thaws; it is easier to remove while it is solid. If the gum thaws before you can remove it, put the clothing back in the freezer or use ice cubes.

5. Ironing 1. Place the garment with the gum side facing down on a piece of cardboard. 2. Adjust the iron to medium temperature. 3. Iron the garment until the gum is no longer stuck to the garment but has been transferred to the cardboard.
