Practical ways to cover tattoos

Practical ways to cover tattoos

Many young people like tattoos, but in many special environments, tattoos are not allowed or accepted, so many people try to cover up their tattoos. Tattoos need to be covered up with thick makeup. If it is too thin, it will definitely not be covered up. As for plasters and foundation, they are completely ineffective. They are only effective for a few dozen minutes after the makeup is applied. After getting wet or the makeup comes off after a long time, the tattoo will be revealed. Here are some practical ways to cover tattoos.

Tattoos can be covered up, because tattoos need to be covered up with thick paint. If it is too thin, it will definitely not be covered up. The standard is to just cover the tattoo. After all, the paint is not your own skin, so there will be color difference. The best you can do is to make it similar, not exactly the same. It depends on the actual situation.

Painting with black is a cleaner approach and usually ensures that the areas you want to cover are completely covered. Since black has a strong impact, we usually need to make some contrast to enrich the details and make the whole tattoo less monotonous.

A new image with bright details outside the black covered area is preferably made in a sketch style: this style is more delicate and forms a good contrast with the large area of black.

This is the traditional method of covering up and is only suitable for covering small tattoos. It is especially suitable for changing to old school style, because highly saturated black is very common in old school.

When the original image to be covered is relatively large and not complicated, you can leave gaps according to the shape of the original image and fill in the other parts. This modification method can maximize the preservation of the original tattoo area and prevent the new tattoo from being too large.

Design directly based on the shape of the original image. Usually a better effect can be achieved, but the design needs to be determined based on the shape of the original tattoo (what it can be made into depends entirely on the tattoo artist).

Covering has limitations, and you usually have to choose between "clean and good-looking" and "doing what I want to do". It is very rare that what you want to do can be perfectly covered.

Black can be cleaned with laser, but it cannot be completely removed and it will still be visible. In the hospital, the charges are extremely high and will scare you to death. If you go to a tattoo shop to remove it, the quality varies and it is not safe.
