Should I squeeze the abscess in my ear hole?

Girls love beauty and prettiness. Although earrings are small, they are delicate and can modify the face shape and show temperament. Therefore, although piercing the ears is a bit painful, there are still many girls who get their ears pierced. When you get your ears pierced in the summer, because the weather is hot and the body secretes a lot of oil and sweat, it is easy to cause suppuration and infection in the ear piercing. Should you squeeze the abscess in the ear piercing? What is the correct way to deal with it?

1. If you were shot with a gun, and the swelling and yellow discharge occur a few days later (or it has not started yet), how to deal with it:

① Disinfect the tail end of the nail gun with alcohol cotton and then pull out the nail.

② Use a cotton ball soaked in medical saline heated to 40-50℃ to clean the front and back of the ear hole, and gently squeeze out the pus and blood.

③ Change to longer white fungus nails, and apply "erythromycin" or "Bactroban" ointment before changing. If the swelling is thicker, change to a longer plastic stick, and plug the front and back of the plastic stick.

④ Do not remove the nail within one month after replacing it. Wipe it with alcohol cotton or saline cotton balls 2-3 times a day, and wipe the front and back of the ear hole and the plastic stick repeatedly 7-8 times each time to fully replace the pus and bacteria in the ear hole.

⑤ Choose a "Bactroban" ointment with better efficacy, use a sterilized toothpick to pick up a little and apply it to the front and back roots of the ear holes. Repeat this step for half a month, and then you can only use alcohol cotton for care. (Note: You can also use "lidocaine chlorhexidine aerosol spray", which is especially suitable for people with navel piercing.)

2. How to deal with inflammation caused by accidentally replacing the tea stick:

①Use alcohol cotton to disinfect either end of the ear hole and the nail clippers, and use the nail clippers to cut the tea stick from the root.

② Grab the other end of the tea stick and gently squeeze and pull it out.

③The nail replacement method and treatment method are the same as Article 1.

3. After having my ears pierced for about a month, I felt that the hole had healed completely. However, when I changed the nails myself, I was not skilled enough and did not control the angle well, so I injured the hole and caused pain. I did not pay attention to it at the time, but more than ten days later, I felt a boil behind my ear, and some of the boils were quite large. It is more difficult to deal with this situation. Often, the nails chosen for replacing the nails are unfired and rough. The ear holes will be scratched during replacement, and sometimes the nails cannot be replaced. People think that the ear holes are crooked. Even if they are replaced, they are not treated with medicine or care, and they are ignored if there is no pain or itching. However, after ten or twenty days, a boil is found. If this is the case, the following treatment methods are needed: ① If the boil is not big, use a sterilized sewing needle to prick the boil, squeeze out the pus and blood, and then use the same methods as in Article 1 to remove the nail and reduce inflammation. ② If the abscess is large, drainage should be used. If conditions permit, go to the hospital to cut a small hole in the abscess and bury a gauze strip for drainage, which is very effective. 4. What to do if the nails fall off or you take them off and can't put them on again:

① First make sure the earrings have smooth heads, then disinfect them with alcohol, apply "erythromycin" ointment, and gently rotate them to put them in. If they cannot be put in halfway, consider whether the angle is correct, adjust them, and then put them in slowly. Do not force it in to avoid scratching the ear hole.

② If you are not sure, you can ask a friend who has pierced ears to help you. Look carefully at the hole at the back and adjust the angle. In this case, wearing pierced ears requires experience, so you can go to an experienced piercing shop to have them worn.
