Many times we will find some small balls of hair on our clothes, each of which greatly affects the color and texture of the clothes themselves. Many clothes, especially thicker ones in winter, often pilling, and most people will reluctantly throw away clothes that they may not have worn more than a few times. So is there any way to remove lint from clothes? Let’s take a closer look at it! 1. Roller lint remover Use a lint roller to stick directly onto the clothes, rolling it up and down. If you find that the adhesion of the roller has deteriorated, tear off the outermost layer and use a new one to continue sticking. The rollers are supplied with refills. If the roller gets dirty, just wash it clean with soapy water. 2. Lint trimmer For convenience, you can use an electric lint trimmer. After turning on the switch, place the trimmer's trimming opening close to the clothes and slowly slide it along the clothes. Finally, remember to clean the trimmer slot in time. 3. Pumice You can use a pumice stone or a sweater lint removal stone to grind away the lint. When using, rub along the grain of the clothes, do not rub randomly, control the strength and do not use too much force, and do not rub the same part repeatedly. Be careful when using pumice stone on delicate or shiny fabrics such as cotton, wool, satin, etc. When using a pumice stone, it is best to lay the clothes flat on a table so that it will be much easier to clean with a point of application. 4. Velcro You can also use a wider Velcro or a curling iron with a Velcro surface to catch the hair balls. Use the hooked side to rub down along the clothes, and finally use tape to remove the stray hair accumulated in the corners of the clothes. 5. Razor A razor can also remove hair pills, especially those in the ridges of clothing or hidden places like hair pills. Use a razor to start from the collar area, pull down close to the surface of the clothes, and gently pat off the lint debris after hanging. It should be noted that you need to remove the hair balls every certain distance before continuing to scrape. If you don't have a razor, you can also use a blade, but be careful and control the angle to avoid scratching your clothes. 6. Sponges and dishcloths A wet sponge or dishcloth can also be used to rub off lint. First, wet the sponge or dishcloth, wring out excess water, and then carefully rub down along the lint-ridden areas of the clothes. The lint will be removed. 7. Rubber gloves Prepare a pair of rubber gloves and wear them on your hands, then wipe back and forth on the areas where the hair balls are. Repeated wiping will generate static electricity, so the hair balls will be absorbed and carried away by the static electricity. |
