Good time control

After feeding too much feed, if it is a precious fish, it will suck out some of the feed immediately. If it is a hardy fish, you can let them eat first, but you must always pay attention. Generally, after letting them eat for five minutes, you have to control it, otherwise the water will be muddy or there will be dead fish.

Fish out with small net

If the water in the tank is shallow and there are few fish, you can use a small net to scoop out some of the feed or live food.

Suction out with a thin tube

Find a thin plastic tube with a diameter no larger than one centimeter, fill it with water, and suck out the uneaten feed or live food at the bottom of the tank. Make sure it is all sucked out, leaving no food behind, because the fish will be full at this point, and it will be dangerous if they eat more.

Water changes

After sucking out the excess feed or live food, you need to replace some of the water for the fish to make the water in the tank clearer and more oxygenated so that the fish can breathe.

One day without feeding

After the fish have sucked up all the feed and changed the water, let them swim in clean water. Do not feed them again within the next day to allow them to completely digest the food in their bodies.

Suck out fish poop

Although you don’t feed the fish on the second day, you must use a tube to suck out the fish feces in time. Because the fish eat too much, they will definitely poop a lot. You must clean the fish feces twice a day, morning and evening, and replace it with some clean water that has been dried in the sun to maintain the water quality of the fish tank.

Under normal circumstances, the bloating of koi fish may be caused by the following five situations:

1. Too much feed is given, and the fish eat too much and their stomachs become bloated. This situation can be solved by reducing feeding.

2. The fish are well raised and have grown fat. Of course, this is a good thing.

3. The fish is pregnant, which is a good thing.

4. It may be caused by parasites or stomach water accumulation, which are more difficult to treat diseases.

The cause of illness is due to eating unclean food. Or eating food with thorns may damage the internal organs. Vibrio infection causes visceral edema. The initial symptoms are that the fish loses balance and its abdomen slowly swells day by day. It may even cause the fish to lose their appetite.

The treatment for this condition is as follows:

1. The old three. Change the water, raise the temperature (above 30 degrees), and add 0.5% salt.

2. Bath in Japanese yellow powder for 5 minutes.
