Will retinal hemorrhage heal on its own?

In life we must develop good living habits and eating habits, and do some appropriate exercise when we have time to keep our body in a relatively good condition. When you suffer from some diseases, it is not just one-sided, but often has a certain relationship with many factors in the patient's body and many habits in life. Retinal hemorrhage is a common disease in ophthalmology, but it is not an independent disease.

Will retinal hemorrhage heal on its own?

Retinal hemorrhage is not an independent eye disease, but a common feature of many eye diseases and certain systemic diseases. It is common in retinopathy caused by hypertensive retinopathy, diabetes and kidney disease. Retinal periphlebitis, retinal vein occlusion, optic disc vasculitis and blood diseases cause retinopathy and traumatic retinal hemorrhage. The same pathological damage may occur due to various different causes, such as retinal hemorrhage, exudation, microaneurysm, neovascularization, etc. Due to the complex causes of this disease, the course of the disease is long, it is easy to relapse, seriously affecting vision and causing many serious complications. Such as macular degeneration (cystoid macular edema, macular degeneration), neovascular glaucoma, vitreous hemorrhage, optic nerve atrophy, proliferative retinopathy, and tractional retinal detachment, if not treated promptly and effectively, can often lead to blindness.

Bacterial and viral infections cause conjunctivitis. Dry eyes are caused by dry air, dust and smoke irritation, long-term work in front of the computer, menopause, lack of sleep, etc. Seasonal redness may be caused by allergic conjunctivitis, which is caused by an allergy to pollen or certain substances in the air. You should also pay attention to maintaining a normal work and rest schedule to give your eyes a good rest. Generally speaking, as long as you take good care of yourself, you can heal yourself.

Prevention and care of retinal hemorrhage

To prevent bleeding, you should use your eyes moderately, do not read books, newspapers or watch TV for a long time. It is recommended to take a 2-3 minute break after watching for 40 minutes. Do not be overly excited, tired, agitated or angry, and maintain good and sufficient sleep.

Usually pay attention to:

1. Adequate sleep helps moisturize the eyes and reduce bloodshot eyes.

2. Clean your eyelids to prevent your eyes from becoming inflamed and bloodshot due to debris, grease, bacteria, cosmetics and other dust.

3. Go to bed early, don’t wait until 12 o’clock, that’s already very late, it’s best to go to bed before 10 o’clock. The ideal sleep time is 8 hours. Relax and spend more time outdoors.

Symptoms of retinal hemorrhage

(1) All of a sudden, everything goes dark before your eyes, and you can only see the movements of your hands or sense light.

(2) Suddenly, a round black shadow appears in front of the eyes, which floats without moving with the eyes. Objects in the center of the eyes are completely invisible, while objects on the sides are vaguely visible.

(3) Suddenly, a black shadow like a line appears in the eye, shooting straight in a certain direction. It progresses rapidly and gradually increases in number, eventually covering the front of the eye, making vision blurry and indistinguishable.

(4) Suddenly, red flashes appear in front of the eyes, gradually increasing in intensity until the whole vision is filled with red light and vision becomes blurred.

(5) Precursor symptoms include swelling of the eyes and twitching of the eyeballs.

(6) Most cases have recurrent attacks, and each attack will have some of the above symptoms. Even if the blood does not subside, when the bleeding continues, some of the above feelings may still occur.
