How are pigmentation spots formed

There probably is no woman who wants to be spotted. After all, spots on the face will not affect health, but they will greatly affect a person's image. In fact, pigmentation does not occur without reason. The formation of pigmentation is related to various reasons. For example, genetic reasons, bad living habits, improper skin care methods, endocrine disorders and so on. So what are the causes of pigmentation?

There are many reasons for the formation of pigmentation, and the types are quite complicated. But the most common spots we see are freckles and melasma. How are they formed?

(1)Genetic reasons. Autosomal inheritance is the main cause of freckles. It usually starts in children around 5 years old, mostly in women, with severe symptoms in spring and summer and mild symptoms in autumn and winter. Light brown to yellowish brown spots ranging in size from pinpoints to rice grains, symmetrically distributed on the face (especially the nose).

(2) Ultraviolet radiation. Ultraviolet radiation in sunlight is an important cause of pigmentation, which is why sun protection is needed in summer. When the skin is exposed to too much sunlight, the epidermis produces more melanin particles, which can absorb ultraviolet rays and protect the body from harm. This is why our skin becomes darker after sun exposure. Moreover, exposure to ultraviolet rays can cause chloasma, which darkens the color of common freckles.

(3) Endocrine causes Endocrine disorders are also an important cause of pigmentation in women. Changes in sex hormone levels during menstruation and pregnancy can affect the production of melanin. In addition, endocrine instability usually causes emotional instability, which can also indirectly cause the formation of pigmentation spots (in traditional Chinese medicine, the formation of melasma is mainly attributed to liver congestion, which is more complicated).

(4) Lifestyle issues. Bad living habits such as stress, picky eating, and lack of sleep can also increase melanin. Therefore, people with unstable sleep schedules have poor skin metabolism rates, which will affect the production of melanin particles.

How are facial spots formed? After the above introduction, everyone should know the reasons. In order to make themselves more beautiful and more elegant, female friends who love beauty should pay attention to daily care.
