How to quickly reduce swelling of acne

How to quickly reduce swelling of acne

There were originally no pimples on the skin of our faces, but due to various reasons, pimples always appear on certain parts of the face. Of course, this kind of pimple appears more often during adolescence, because the endocrine system is more active at this time. If adults have irregular work and rest schedules and eat spicy and stimulating food, it may also cause pimples on the face. So, if the pimples are swollen, how can you quickly reduce the swelling?

Acne is a normal skin condition that affects many people. Acne is an inflammation of the sebaceous glands (oil glands) that become infected with bacteria, swell and fill with pus. Excessive secretion of sebum by the oil glands is the main cause of this problem. Papules usually occur on the face, neck, back, and shoulders. Although not a major condition, pimples can be distressing because of their appearance.

There are many lotions and medicines on the market to treat pimples, but they take time. There are many natural remedies that can effectively treat acne in a short period of time.

How to Get Rid of Acne Quickly

Here are five ways to get rid of acne fast.

1. Ice

Ice can be used to quickly reduce the redness, swelling, and inflammation of pimples. It helps improve blood circulation in the affected area as well as tightens skin pores and removes dirt and oil that accumulates on the skin. You can use ice cubes or crushed ice, whichever is more convenient.

Wrap the ice cube in a cloth and hold it to the affected skin area for a few seconds.

Wait a few minutes and repeat the process.

2. Lemon

Another quick way to get rid of pimples is to use lemon juice which is rich in vitamin C. Lemon juice can help pimples dry up quickly. Be sure to use fresh lemon juice, not bottled juice with preservatives. There are several ways to apply this remedy.

Dip a clean cotton swab in fresh lemon juice and apply it to the pimples before bed.

You can also mix one tablespoon of lemon juice and one teaspoon of cinnamon powder together and apply it on the pimples overnight. In the morning, wash your skin with warm water. However, this particular remedy is not suitable for those with sensitive skin.

3. Toothpaste

The same toothpaste you use to clean your teeth every morning can also be used to quickly treat pimples. It is most effective when used with ice remedies. You must use white toothpaste; avoid gel toothpaste.

Pimple Remedies at Home

In the morning, wash your face with water and you will see a significant improvement in the swelling.

You can also repeat this process during the day if you wish. Just make sure the toothpaste stays on for at least half an hour.

4. Garlic

Garlic is an antiviral, antifungal, antiseptic, and antioxidant that can help treat pimples fast. The sulfur in garlic also promotes quick healing of acne.

Chop fresh garlic into two pieces.

Rub the garlic on the pimples, leave it on for five minutes, then wash your skin with warm water.

Repeat the treatment several times a day.

Eating a clove of raw garlic every day can also help purify your blood. But don't eat too much raw garlic as it can upset your stomach.

5. Honey

Honey is a source of natural antibiotics that speed up the healing process and help prevent infection.

Dip a clean cotton swab in honey and place directly on the affected area and leave it on for half an hour.

Wash skin with warm water.

Do this several times a day.

Another option is to mix honey and cinnamon together to make a paste and apply it on the pimples before going to bed. In the morning, there will be less inflammation or swelling. Wash skin with cool water.
