How to urinate quickly

How to urinate quickly

For many friends, if they suffer from urethral diseases, it will be very painful when urinating. For example, if you suffer from urethritis, you want to urinate quickly. But we all know that no matter how much we want to urinate quickly, sometimes the effect is not ideal. This requires us to think of some solutions. So, how can you urinate quickly?

Causes of Dysuria

1. Diet and climate

Foods high in water or drinking plenty of water can increase urine output. Beverages such as coffee, tea, and alcohol have a diuretic effect. Excessive sodium content in food can lead to water and sodium retention in the body, resulting in reduced urine output. When the temperature is high, breathing becomes faster, sweating occurs more frequently, and urine output decreases.

2. Age and gender

Infants urinate due to reflex and are not under conscious control. They can only control themselves after the age of 3. The elderly often have frequent urination due to reduced bladder tension; elderly men have urethra compression due to prostate hyperplasia. It often causes dribbling of urine and difficulty urinating. Women's urination pattern also changes during menstruation and pregnancy.

3. Urinating habits

The time of urination is often related to your daily routine, such as urinating in the morning or before going to bed. If the urination posture and environment are not suitable, it will also affect the urination activity.

4. Treatment factors

For example, diuretics can increase urine volume; the use of anesthetics and postoperative pain during surgery can lead to postoperative urinary retention.

5. Psychological factors

Emotional changes such as tension, anxiety, and fear can cause frequent urination, urgency, or urinary retention due to suppressed urination; suggestions can also affect urination, such as auditory, visual, and sensory stimulation of other parts of the body can induce urination.

6. Disease factors

Damage to the nervous system can cause impairment of the nerve conduction of the urination reflex and the consciousness of controlling urination, leading to urinary incontinence. Kidney disease can cause impaired urine production, leading to oliguria or anuria; stones, tumors, and strictures in the urinary system can cause urinary dysfunction and urinary retention.

Causes and treatments for dysuria

Causes and treatments for dysuria

Everyone has understood the causes of difficulty in urination, so what should we do if we have difficulty in urination?

If you find yourself having difficulty urinating, you should seek medical help immediately and never leave it alone. Doctors have many ways to treat this disease, such as acupressure, acupuncture and massage. If conservative treatment is ineffective, an indwelling urinary catheter may be considered.

But generally speaking, drinking more water at home and using simple auxiliary methods can help relieve urinary retention. We introduce several methods to you.

1. Conditioned reflex method: turn on the water pipe or pour water with a cup, let the sound of running water stimulate the urination center and induce urination.

2. Local hot compress method: Heat 500 grams of salt, wrap it in a cloth, and apply it to the lower abdomen while it is hot. After it cools down, heat it again and apply it. This will help urination.

3. Blowing the nose to induce sneezing: Use a small amount of soap bean powder, blow it into the nose to induce sneezing, which can often lead to successful urination.

4. Pressure massage: Massage the lower abdomen while urinating and gradually apply pressure to promote urination.

5. Breathing regulation method: inhale twice, exhale once, and repeat until you urinate.

6. Method to relieve constipation: Use a suppository, insert it into the anus, and defecate when you feel the urge. Urine will usually be discharged with the feces.
