How do you get paranoia

Delusion is actually an alternative symptom of a person's abnormal thinking. In doctors' pathological explanations, it is called distorted beliefs and can be regarded as a mental illness. The most common symptom discovered now is paranoia, which is a very common disease. Many people who experience this condition will feel that they are being murdered by others, and they also become extremely suspicious and wary of others.

The patient develops a fantasy due to his lack of security and extreme distrust of the outside world. It often occurs in the elderly or some people who have suffered a blow that is beyond their ability to bear. The patient will firmly believe, without any basis, that someone (or a group) is monitoring, attacking, or persecuting him, his relatives, or his family. These persecution activities include conspiracy, stalking, food poisoning, etc. Under the control of delusions, patients refuse to eat, run away, accuse, and even hurt themselves or others. Such patients are usually very nervous. It is common in schizophrenia, paranoid psychosis, etc.

For patients in the early stages of illness, their family members or relatives should show more care and patience. Communicate more with patients, understand their thoughts and needs, so as to increase their sense of security and eliminate their tension and anxiety. For serious patients, they should seek medical attention as soon as possible.

Persecutory delusion is the most common type of delusion. Patients are often in a state of fear, feeling that they are being talked about, framed, plotted against, having their property robbed, or being raped, etc. Delusions of persecution often involve suicidal intent, which can lead to disaster if not diagnosed and treated early. People who suffer from delusions often have specific personality defects, such as subjectivity, sensitivity, suspicion, strong self-esteem, self-centeredness, and fantasy. This is often related to certain stimulation the patient received in childhood, lack of maternal love, and lack of good interpersonal relationships with others.
