Can floral water be sprayed directly onto the skin?

Can floral water be sprayed directly onto the skin?

In summer and autumn, the temperature is high and there are many mosquitoes. The strong smell of sweat on people attracts many mosquitoes. They bite you here and there, and it is very itchy and really uncomfortable. In this way, floral water came into being. On the one hand, applying some on your body after taking a shower can reduce sweat odor; on the other hand, floral water also has the effect of disinfection and sterilization. So, during use, can the toilet water be sprayed directly onto the skin?

1. Do not use it for a long time or in large quantities

Many people are superstitious about floral water and use it in large quantities in the summer. In fact, toilet water contains alcohol, which is irritating to the skin. If used in large quantities for a long time, it will cause skin sweating dysfunction, resulting in poor excretion of heat in the body, which can easily cause dizziness, fatigue, and heatstroke.

2. Correct use for children

Many mothers like to use floral water on their children, but they cannot use it correctly. It should be noted that it is best to buy floral water specially for children, which is less irritating. If your child has sensitive skin, dilute the floral water before use. Do not apply or spray in large quantities, as toilet water cannot be used as mosquito repellent.

3. Keep away from open flames

The alcohol content of toilet water is very high, up to 75%, and it is flammable. If you have just applied toilet water, be sure to stay away from open flames and do not expose it to the sun to avoid skin burns.

4. Do not use if you have wounds

If the skin is already damaged, do not apply floral water to prevent the chemical components contained in the floral water from triggering skin allergies and aggravating the symptoms.

If you have been bitten by mosquitoes, do not apply toilet water.

5. Don’t smear

Although toilet water has certain effects, it is not as magical as the merchants advertise. It also contains alcohol, which has a certain stimulating effect on the human body. It can easily cause skin problems by irritating certain sensitive parts of the human body.

Therefore, do not apply it casually and do not use it on sensitive areas, such as lips, nose, eyes, ears, and around the vulva.

6. Use with caution if you are allergic

The alcohol content in toilet water is enough to cause a reaction in people with allergies. Therefore, people with allergies should try not to use floral water to avoid allergic reactions.

7. Safe Storage

Because toilet water contains alcohol, you should be more careful when storing it, especially in the hot and humid summer. Do not expose toilet water to the sun or store it in a car, as it may cause an explosion. A better way is to store it in a cool and ventilated place.

8. Don’t use it as perfume

Although toilet water has a faint fragrance, it cannot be used as perfume. One is that the fragrance is not long-lasting, and the other is that it is somewhat irritating to the skin and people with allergies are prone to reactions.

9. Don't blindly relieve itching

Many people believe that floral water has an anti-itching effect. Once there is an itchy area on the body, they use floral water as medicine and apply it directly on the skin.

In fact, floral water cannot relieve the itching caused by many skin diseases, but may easily cause infection. Therefore, you should seek medical attention in time and do not use floral water blindly.

10. Keep an eye on your baby

Floral water contains chemical ingredients such as alcohol and imipenem. If it is accidentally taken orally or gets into the eyes, ears, or mouth, it can easily cause accidental harm to the baby.

Therefore, please keep an eye on your baby and do not let him/her apply or use toilet water on his/her own.
