Is fasting blood pressure high or low?

People often have abnormal blood pressure, either high blood pressure or low blood pressure. If high blood pressure persists for a long time, the patient will experience symptoms such as dizziness and headache, and will easily feel tired. In comparison, those who smoke and drink for a long time, or those who are overweight are more likely to have high blood pressure. In fact, human blood pressure is affected by many factors. For example, when a person is fasting, his blood pressure is generally lower.

Is fasting blood pressure high or low?

When checked on an empty stomach, blood pressure will be slightly lower than after eating, but not too much lower. In fact, the difference is so subtle that it can be ignored. Hypertension can be diagnosed when systolic blood pressure ≥140 mmHg and/or diastolic blood pressure ≥90 mmHg.

Suggestions: Generally, patients with severe hypertension are advised to take medication to control blood pressure, so as to avoid serious complications caused by prolonged high blood pressure. Fluctuating blood pressure can also cause complications such as cerebral hemorrhage. Some foods, such as onions and celery, can also improve blood pressure. It is recommended to eat more of these foods in daily life.

This symptom is very common. Generally speaking, factors have little impact on blood pressure, so please don't worry.

Suggestions: Generally, hypertension has no obvious symptoms. Severe hypertension will cause dizziness. It is recommended to go to the cardiology department of the hospital in time to have a heart ultrasound.

Blood pressure must be measured on an empty stomach. Generally, do not eat in the morning when measuring blood pressure. Wait until you are calm before measuring, otherwise your blood pressure will easily be high.

Suggestions: People with hypertension should pay attention to combining work and rest, maintain adequate sleep, and participate in work, physical labor and physical exercise within their ability. Pay attention to dietary adjustment, adopt a low-salt, low-animal fat diet, and avoid foods rich in cholesterol. Obese people should properly control their food intake and total calories, lose weight appropriately, not smoke, and take Chinese medicine in tea drinks, such as Luobu Ma tea, which has a good regulating effect on blood pressure, blood lipids, and blood sugar.

Considering that blood pressure has little to do with whether or not you eat, there is no direct correlation between the two. Hypertension may cause the following symptoms: (1) Increased blood pressure, or dizziness, headache, blurred vision, tinnitus, insomnia, fatigue, and inattention after mental stress, emotional excitement, or fatigue. These symptoms may be caused by disorders of higher mental functions. In the early stages, blood pressure only rises temporarily, but as the disease progresses, blood pressure continues to rise and organs are affected. (2) Head: Headache and dizziness are common, mostly caused by emotional excitement, excessive fatigue, climate change or discontinuation of antihypertensive drugs, sudden increase in blood pressure, severe headache, visual impairment, nausea, vomiting, convulsions, coma, transient hemiplegia, aphasia, etc.

(III) Cardiac manifestations: In the early stage, cardiac function is compensated and symptoms are not obvious. In the later stage, cardiac function is decompensated and heart failure occurs.

(IV) Renal manifestations: Long-term hypertension leads to renal arteriosclerosis. When renal function is impaired, it can cause nocturia, polyuria, protein, casts and red blood cells in the urine, poor urine concentrating ability, phenol red excretion and urea clearance disorders, and the occurrence of azotemia and uremia.
