The harm of girls not eating on time

Nowadays, there are many people who want to lose weight, and girls account for the majority of them. However, the healthy way to lose weight is through exercise and a reasonable diet. Many girls may not be able to stick to it because girls have smaller appetites, so many girls choose to diet and not eat on time. This behavior is very unwise and very harmful. Here are the specific dangers of girls not eating on time.

1. Causes obesity. Long-term hunger makes people crave food very much. When they get home, they will eat anything they can get their hands on, and they prefer junk food that is ready to eat after opening the bag. After finishing dinner exhausted, many people simply wash up and lie down on the bed to rest. Little do people know that the sugar and fat levels in the blood increase after a meal, and coupled with lack of exercise, excess calories are converted into fat, which can easily lead to weight gain.

2. Increase the risk of stroke. The later you eat dinner, the higher your risk of stroke. On the contrary, people who eat early and ensure that there is a 60-70 minute interval between meal and bedtime can reduce their risk of stroke by 66%.

3. High risk of gastric cancer. The study found that 38.4% of people eat too late or at irregular times. The researchers analyzed that the lifespan of gastric mucosal epithelial cells is very short, and they need to be renewed about every 2 to 3 days. The renewal process generally takes place at night when the gastrointestinal tract is resting. If dinner is eaten too late, the gastrointestinal tract cannot get rest and the gastric mucosa cannot be repaired in time, which may increase the risk of gastric cancer over time. The risk is higher if you often eat fried, grilled or other foods.

4. Affects sleep. The gastrointestinal tract is forced to "work overtime" which directly affects sleep, leading to problems such as difficulty falling asleep or frequent dreams, shallow sleep or even insomnia. Over time, it makes people listless and even leads to memory loss, neurasthenia, etc.

5. Stone disease is highly prevalent. The peak period of calcium excretion in the human body is 4 to 5 hours after a meal. If dinner is eaten too late, people will have fallen asleep when the peak of calcium excretion arrives, and urine cannot be excreted in time. A large amount of calcium in the urine will be deposited, which may form kidney, ureter, bladder and urethra stones over time.
