Can patients with non-atrophic gastritis and gastric ulcer eat meat

Gastric disease is an extremely painful symptom for people, because the occurrence of gastric disease will cause changes in people's diet, causing many people to abstain from various foods in order to reduce the incidence of gastric disease. For example, atrophic gastritis and gastric ulcer is a common disease that needs to be treated through diet. Let’s take a look at whether people with non-atrophic gastritis and gastric ulcer can eat meat?

Can people with non-atrophic gastritis and gastric ulcer eat meat? Yes, you can eat meat, but you must chew it slowly. Gastric ulcer disease is characterized by recurrent rhythmic upper abdominal pain, often accompanied by belching, acid reflux, burning, noise, and even nausea, vomiting, hematemesis, and bloody stools.

If you suffer from gastritis, you should consider three parts treatment and seven parts care. There is actually no special method. The main thing to do when you have stomach problems is to take care of yourself and eat a healthy diet.

All kinds of meat can be eaten for stomach problems, including fish and shrimp, but pork, chicken and beef need to be stewed a little bit and not too greasy. In short, whether you can eat meat depends on the cooking method, and dishes that are too irritating to the stomach are not recommended, such as sauerkraut fish, boiled beef, etc. It is still edible if the meals are made as light as possible. From the perspective of nutritional balance, eating only grains and vegetables without meat can easily lead to amino acid deficiency, which is not good for health.

Pay attention to your diet: During the acute phase of ulcer, you can eat liquid or semi-liquid food such as porridge for a short period of time, but it is not recommended to do so for a long time. After the acute phase, you can resume the same diet as normal people, but you need to pay attention to chewing slowly and promote saliva secretion. Because the amylase in saliva can react physically with gastric juice, it can breed bifidobacteria, repair gastric mucosa, and help the digestive system metabolize pathogenic bacteria, toxins, and waste.

Since gastric ulcer is a chronic disease and is prone to recurrence, long-term medication is necessary to ensure its complete healing. Do not stop taking the medicine suddenly when the symptoms improve slightly, and do not change your mind frequently. Do not take a certain medicine for just a few days and then switch to another medicine when the symptoms have not improved. Generally speaking, a course of treatment lasts 4 to 6 weeks, and after the pain is relieved, you need to consolidate the treatment for 1 to 3 months, or even longer.
