Being pricked by a fish bone is not a trivial matter. Some fish bones may contain toxins, so you must take it seriously. It is best to go to the hospital for treatment as soon as possible. If the area around the wound is not clean or the fishbone is very dirty, it is very likely that bacteria and other pathogenic microorganisms will be brought into the wound, causing infection or even suppuration. Therefore, the first task is to confirm whether toxins or the like are brought into the wound. If not, wash the wound with clean water first, squeeze out some blood, and after cleaning, apply alcohol and then bandage it with a hemostatic patch. The injured area should be kept away from water as much as possible, otherwise it will be difficult to reduce the swelling; if the redness and swelling do not subside for a long time or even show signs of expansion, and you feel discomfort (such as numbness in the fingers or unchanged movement or general discomfort), you should go to the hospital immediately.
